Woooww throwback to 2011 when I THOUGHT I knew every Foster the People song on the Torches album and I drove 6 hours to Vegas for their concert at a little venue on top of the Cosmopolitan. I heard this for the first time (because it was an iTunes/japan exclusive) and LOST MY ABSOLUTE MIND. It's still my favorite. And that concert is still the best concert I've ever been to. I remember Isom was going so hard 🤣 And who could forget the iconic moomoo 👌✨ Thanks for the memories guys ❤️ It's been 10 years and I've been able to go to 4 of your shows. I hope to see you again soon because obviously I'll continue to support you!!
Me too! I remember fancying myself to be a rabid fan of theirs, knowing every word of every song and discovering it by hearing it at a record store and asking the worker about it. And that's so rad you've seen them live. Crowds freak me out but I think I'd tolerate it to see them play. I'm very curious, what is the moomoo thing you mentioned?
I have the a similar experience, but heard it for the first time at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California like a decade ago.. I’m more of a hip hop head, but it is still, hands down, the best concert I’ve ever been to 🔥

2:37 and then on is my favorite part of the song. Always makes me tear up a bit at the end, I guess because I can relate to it a lot which is why Foster The People is my favorite band of all time as well as Phoenix.
Like most people of the world I was introduced to them by Pumped Up Kicks but I've heard a couple more songs of theirs and I've liked them quite a bit! Any recommendations?
