You got this, brother. It's supposed to be hard. It will always be hard. But you can do these things, no matter if they're hard or not. I'm at 3 years sober off opiates, 4 from alcohol. I'm still on Suboxone. 3 years ago, I never thought I would get clean. I didn't want to. I couldn't imagine living my life without that feeling of pain killers. What else would I do? How am I supposed to live without them? But after spending the $250 for my few day fix, not even really getting high anymore, just trying to not withdrawal, I would take my pills, go out back shaking, smoke a cigarette and cry. At that point, I knew I needed help. Don't be afraid to ask for help. You can do this.
@@danm1319people can and should stay on subs for as long as they need. Some people stay on them for life and it's long as they do good and improve and keep getting better in life that's fine. I was an idiot who made the most important thing in my recovery getting off everything instead of getting a job and progressing with my life. I was so bad after 20 years of heroin addiction I was down to 110 lb and it took me two years of being on prescription opiates to even get healthy back to 165 lb and couldn't even work whereas I should have stayed on those for many more years and got my s*** together and been able to work and prioritize getting my life together work wise instead of just prioritizing getting off all the opiates first. And Suboxone like methadone is incredibly hard to wean off of. I know many people who are successful have a great jobs and are making bank but still on methadone or Suboxone.

Dude I'm glad these two are still getting together and talking about life with addiction and life now. Always wishing the best for these guys to stay strong and keep doing good for themselves. Miss the old ripride episode with these two on. It was the best !
I Love Animal Factory and Edward Furlong’s Cameo in The Green Hornet was hilarious. Love Andy Roy’s style on a board. It’s cool to watch these guys interact with each other.
Word up! Rented terminator, brainscan, american history x. I have skated nonstop since 1984. Skatepunk! Got sober at 20. Things were getting bad. I got down on my knees and confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. That was the most punk rock against the grain. Hated by the world. Memorized be vigilant be sober for your adversary the devil roameth about seeking whom he may devour. ....don't let the devil devour you!! Love you homies! Jesus loves you
I turn 43 in a few weeks. These are two my heels both in the balls out crazy times and in the fact of watching them be masters of there craft. I been an iv heroin n fetty addict amongst iv cocaine n benzoyl n Gabbana Lyrica etc on too if it since 17. Endocarditis. Stroke. Overdoses. Walked out in from of bus. Incarceration. These drugs are powerful and held me in there palm I think God and hardworking to be where I'm at today. A.R n Edddir Furlong love u both- don't ever go back- good to see u both shining n growing. Love from Detroit
Love these guys❤. Ironically mushrooms and Iboga helped me get off heroin, and really helped me mentally processing things as I was off the heroin but everybody is different and glad they're clean.
I was chipping doing Suboxone and heroin and thought i had the world fooled. Had to commit and quit. Been on Suboxone solely for a year but it took me wrecking my truck to wake up. Also had a firearm and dope. The cop made the charge disappear. Count your blessings. Find a god. Hold fast.
If any man be in Christ he is a new creation! Old things are passed away! Behold all things become new! New life in Christ! Made alive! Freed from the destroyers snare! Be vigilant be sober. Love you dudes!
Hey Andy i am an old Emos bartender and friends with Tex, Craig and the tx crew. Todd may have got you but you look way better than him these days! Stay up!
Why you showing clips of cooking shit up? It's super triggering. 10min in and I havs already seen the same clips twice. Really not necessary and defeats the purpose. I'm out
Im sober for seven years and six months now, I think is really hard still but Im a skater, and skaters some how has a different brain maybe. I hope every person in suffering right now can get over this. The mind is a powerful tool! 🤍
Trying to get clean again... It's real hard. Not giving up. Thanks for the inspiration.

When Christian Hosoi got out of jail after four years for smuggling ice. We called it The Second Coming of CHRIST. ✝️

we will include a trigger warning in future episodes--
@ it’s like a podcast format right? Why even put on filler clips like that? But I appreciate it!
