That’s exactly how I imagined and how I want to start the first special episode of season 3 with Hunter and Luz conversations in the middle of the night.But before that I would like if they show me that he’s having nightmares due to the gooy Belos that felt on him and that it’s trying to possess him.
Well for now it seems like gooy Belos just hitched a ride and disembarked in the cabin. Feel like it'd need to regain its strength before trying anything that over the top.

I don’t think the Belos goo is on him anymore bc at the very end of the credits on the last episode you see the Belos goop fall and close the door. It might be possible the some of the goo is still on him
This animatic was stunningly well-paced. I love that it tackled what about being a Grimwalker scares Hunter, being a copy of someone else and how that can make other people see him. And Luz’s response was perfect, that Willow wouldn’t ever judge him for that and her hardships with Amity before they got together. I hope some semblance of a scene like this happens in season 3, or just confirmed to be canon in some way, maybe a comic or something. The idea that Willow was listening the whole time was awesome though, I loved that little twist! And the idea that neither Luz nor Hunter can sleep hurts o w

The 1st time Gus and Willow was shown I thought that would happen, the second time it was focused on Willow I was very sure and it was shown she was listening, although I'm sad her ears didn't turn red just like Hunter (TwT)
While I don't see any of them really caring about him being a clone of a dead human none of them will ever meet, I do think the general stance of wanting to protect his friends and solve the overall issue of the isles before possibly exploring his feelings for Willow is the best standpoint for both of them
I love the animation of Hunter talking about his feelings to his adopted sister Luz. How he is dealing a lot of truma and having a identity crisis. P.S Lol I can totally see Luz has already sus on his feelings for Willow how she knows that he likes her!😂☺️

Plus, if only there's a voice actor to read those lines, cause the feels and chills as we go through the vid. The way Luz tells her first encounter with Amity to Hunter. What a sibling relationship they have, and how Hunter prioritizes his feelings and act as a big brother to Gus and Willow since he himself doesn't know the lifespan of a Grimwalker so he'll do everything he can till he is still alive to protect them at all cost.

So much happened to those kids. Hunter was feeling worse for what happened to him and doubt that Willow would love him. He gotta have faith and let his feelings show. It's even better for Luz to comfort him like that. They need the support.

This was such a well paced, and excellent video. They needed that talk to air things that happened while it was still fresh. I liked the touch that it was still raining outside, to show that it was the same day that they'd arrived at. Having Willow still be awake and hearing their conversation (whether she woke up after he admitted or before), I just wish for all of them to find strength and happiness in each other. They'll need it all before they can get back home.
I was simply speechless at the end... it was perfect!!! It would be amazing if there was this scene in the cartoon, I was touched, because it was a moment of so much maturity for both of them...😣🤧

I think a plot that can be on S3 is that the gooy of Philip may possessed Luz and maybe passed his curse to her, it would be very interesting.

This was REALLY good. The art is solid, the dialogue is very in character, and the meshing of music is EXCELLENT against the sound of rain. A few typos are my only real issue with this. Great work.
