It was for a challenge called CROWD BUSKING - it was uploaded to the 1TheK TH-cam channel today. The boys had an hour to find lots of people to watch their stage - every two people counted for 1 second of their song, so they needed 370 people to watch in order to perform the whole song with music. They got a lot of people and even though it wasn’t 370, the boys performed the ending without backing music - and were great! It wasn’t an actual music error or a trick to be mean etc. Just a fun challenge video on the street.
Let's get it Xikers! I sure hope the music error was unintentional. Otherwise, it's gonna be a long road to the top like our Ateez. But hey...when you got talent, it will always shine, not matter how hard people block it. Let the determination and hard work flow through your veins and keep reaching for your goals. This is just the beginning of your amazing journey! We are already so proud of you!

That's why I said...I hope it's unintentional and not done to embarrass them onstage because every group has gone through years of training. These young boys deserve a chance, just like everyone else.

If you look in the background, you can see that there's a countdown so it could possibly for a show that they're filming where they have to do challenges to gain time for the stage (kinda like Idol Ability Market if anyone has seen that). Still very professional of them to not get thrown off by it

You're spreading misinformation. This was part of a challenge from a show they were on called 'Crowd Busking.' They had to get a certain number of crowds to attend and watch their performance, and that amount of crowd was supposed to equal the same length of their song. If they couldn't get the amount (of crowds) needed to perform their entire song, their song would get cut off, which is what happened. They essentially failed the challenge, but they still continued to perform because why not.
