Chris was great and deserved more recognition. His voice is too unique to not be in a band of some sort. This guy and these guys (original band) should be making so much money they should be driving in lambos and Bentleys. That’s exactly how good Chris was. I miss him. A skylit drive got back together. Here’s hoping for a JE reunion 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@HardlyWorkin-kh5uhI’m not really sure. He was serving there in the Sacramento area back then after the band. Looks like he’s in a band now called Burn Halo. Also found this video th-cam.com/video/zn2ZKUO3vw8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rsHIu0BhFFp-wQRA
It's a shame Chris Paterson didn't do much after leaving Jamie's Elsewhere, I really like his voice, both clean and unclean. He did the cleans and bass parts for the "Wonderland" album by Sea of Treachery, and it was clear that his cleans had improved drastically. After his year stint in SoT though he did like nothing, other than join underground bands and leave them almost as soon as he joined
I just remembered this band after finding my old Punk Goes 90's album & listening to the bonus/promotional disc in it, honestly enjoyed their music! (:
yyyyooo! thank you so much, had been looking for material he'd been involved with for a long time now. and his screams have gotten a lot better(or overall vocals)
Jeez people look at the description. "Music video by Jamie's Elsewhere performing I Didn't Mean to Interrupt. (C) 2008 Another Victory" Apparently its pretty old
he's a good friend of mine and I started listening to JE when he joined the band, I still love JE and can't wait to see what Aaron will do in the future
@beyonfire24 this guy (chris paterson) is the old lead vocalist. this song is on the first album, guidebook for sinners turned saints. the new singer is aaron pauley (aka mini- jack black).
Chris joined Sea of Treachery as their bass player/clean vocalist for I think a year before he left that band too. He's featured on SOT's Wonderland album
I've been trying to get in contact with him for a while now but can't get a hold of him. I'm trying to see if he could do some guest vocals on an album I'm working on. If you know where to find him then please contact me.
This is the old singer, he did the album "Guidebook For Sinners Turned Saints". The good singer is the enw one, who did "They Said A Storm Was Coming".
Aaron left either at the beginning of the summer, or during the summer. He is the touring bassist/clean vocalist for Of Mice & Men. Jamie's Elsewhere has a touring vocalist named Justin Kyle right now. No word of a permanent replacement...
OMG I found them! hahaha I didn't remember their name and I literally searched "emo bands list" on google hahahahahahaha just for you to know they were on Wikipedia's List of post-hardcore bands HAHAHAHAHA I'm so happy XD
I get you. I'll be honest, I liked Aaron better at first. I found out about Jamie's Elsewhere because of Aaron joining OM&M (one of my fav bands). I got their music. At first, I was disappointed that Aaron wasn't on both albums. However, after getting their music, and listening to both of them a few times, I'm just drawn more to Guidebook for Sinners Turned Saints.
o_O just wondering how many times you guys switched singers cuz i miss the guy who sang in the They Said A Storm Was Coming album ;-; he sounded the best with the band
They're on their 3rd lead vocalist. This was the first, Chris Patterson, hes now the guitarist for Burn Halo. The second, Aaron Pauley, was lead during "They Said A Storm Was Coming". Aaron is now the bass player and clean vocalist for Of Mice & Men. The third, and most current, vocalist is Justin Kyle. Hope that helps!
I can get that. I like the direction the band went in when Aaron joined. It seems like they really found that thing that made them shine in my opinion.
Aaron Pauley is their new lead singer.... the guy singing in this video was their first lead singer Chris Paterson who left the band and went to Sea of Treachery as their guitar and clean vocals until the broke up. Chris is now in a band called Above the City, both of those bands are amazing.... There is also a new bass player in this video.
OM&M is another really great band. Aaron's voice really appeals to me more. I will say that some of his dirty vocals sounds kinda bad, but it doesn't detract from the overall feel I get when I listen to The Mapmaker. I guess I ought to give Chris one more shot.
This is the old Jaime's Elsewhere. Why this video was recently uploaded, or even exists, idk? Btw the new Jaime's Elsewhere has recently released an EP. So far so good :)
This album was great and deserved more recognition
This song is amazing, the rest of the album was alright
@@iflase5823 This isn't even the best song on the album imo
Someone had to say it

@@iflase5823 lol this song is ass.
11 years ago brings me to 20 and it was a good year to be alive. Jamie’s elsewhere, we came as Romans, black veil bride, etc.
I met the vocalist back in 2009 at a Chevys, most chill dude ever. Where has time gone.
What ever happened to him

@RETROORDIE awesome thanks a bunch
I forgot about this band for so long and just came across them. Wow! Brings me back to hard yet beautiful times.
I miss this singer. :c
They had such a unique sound.
Love this song. Miss music like this.
So nostalgic
An absolute classic 🙏 Jamie’s elsewhere with Chris Patterson was completely underrated.
riiiiight!? I loved this song, still do
damn used to see that dude all the time. Hope he is well.
This feels heavenly
00:51 the most amazing guitar spin!

Brendan Byrnes oh really? damn that sucks. i fucking love this song ever since i first heard it on a Victory Records sampler
Yea it's really too bad. He was great in Sea of Treachery tho, check out that Wonderland album if you haven't
hah thats the one album i have on my spotify and now that you mentioon it i can totally hear it in the cleans for SoT so good
here in 2022. this song will always be one of my favorites.
I just remembered this band after finding my old Punk Goes 90's album & listening to the bonus/promotional disc in it, honestly enjoyed their music! (:
Sounds alot like Saosin.
This is great.
yyyyooo! thank you so much, had been looking for material he'd been involved with for a long time now. and his screams have gotten a lot better(or overall vocals)
Miss these days
This song is beautiful
You are
Omg totally forgot about this song /band .. pays off to surf TH-cam always will heart this song :)
im this songs biggest fan
0:20 horse in the wind
xD
I'm so glad JE was able to make this video before Aaron joined
I connect to this song too much. More every year.
This band has an unstable line of vocalists
Woe, is me
Ryan Irving Stop right there, although Woe was the same I actually loved every album brought about with each vocalist.
@2:26 keyboard player actually picks up the keyboard. Hilarious.
holy shit that's just great xD
Oh Oh my god you weren't kidding! That's to funny!
Haaaa!!!!
omg i'm laughing so hard hahaha
I'm dying right now that's funny as fuck 😂☠

i personally like their old stuff so much more. it just flows together so nicely. although their new stuff isn't bad all.
@beyonfire24 this guy (chris paterson) is the old lead vocalist. this song is on the first album, guidebook for sinners turned saints. the new singer is aaron pauley (aka mini- jack black).
my fav
♥️♥️
Curti essa música.
That beginning though. Wow
The first 40 seconds is amazing. The rest of the song is still good
Chris joined Sea of Treachery as their bass player/clean vocalist for I think a year before he left that band too. He's featured on SOT's Wonderland album
Any idea what Chris is currently doing now?
Not sure. I know he joined Burn Halo as a touring guitarist for awhile
+Alex Williams He hasn't been very active which is a shame. Chris played guitar for a bit in Sea of Treachery also iirc.
yeah he played bass for SOT and did clean vocals for a year i think
I've been trying to get in contact with him for a while now but can't get a hold of him. I'm trying to see if he could do some guest vocals on an album I'm working on. If you know where to find him then please contact me.
1:23 is Jordan blake????
im 99% thats jordan. rip jordan blake:(
Thanks mate! :)
Everybody freaking out, this is the OLD Jamies Elsewhere,
Sooooo, chill.
Hadn't heard of them, but I gave them a listen and thanks :D Theyre really good.
Some people can take this song as a negative influence when all I see is a positive response to it
This band had a lot of potential for many years. Wish someone would reinvent it.
i still listening
This... has not stood the test of time :P
love this song and album
2022 still listening 🤷♀️
2023 here ! ;)
I disagree dude, I love the vocals to this song. I actually like the song as a whole. It kinds reminds me of From First To Last, but better.
2019
Throw back......emo screemo will never die!!!!!
This is the old singer, he did the album "Guidebook For Sinners Turned Saints". The good singer is the enw one, who did "They Said A Storm Was Coming".
listen to "hands like houses" if you havn't heard them, similar style and very very good
these are the original members of jamie's elsewhere!
Freshman year.
Aaron left either at the beginning of the summer, or during the summer. He is the touring bassist/clean vocalist for Of Mice & Men. Jamie's Elsewhere has a touring vocalist named Justin Kyle right now. No word of a permanent replacement...
It must of been windy out.
Lol
In
I personally love this song, and this singer, especially his vocals on the wonderland album for Sea of Treachery
The vocalist looks kinda like my best bud XD In general I quite like it when it got stuck in my head X3
Saw this music video on a Victory Records sampler I’m pretty sure.
0:51 that guitar swing was a flop! Lol 😁. Sorry, I just had to say that.
Lmfao. Had to keep the video going though. r/smooth 😏
Yeah, he looked so funny.
Awesome!
OMG I found them! hahaha I didn't remember their name and I literally searched "emo bands list" on google hahahahahahaha just for you to know they were on Wikipedia's List of post-hardcore bands HAHAHAHAHA I'm so happy XD
I genuinely don't mind this song, and this singer

chris is the man he sang in the bunny the bear for a min to help out he is the nicest guy ever
@HelloKittyBetchh i think this is Chris Paterson, the original vocalist for this band.
Classic
This was one of their first singers. This is from an old album.
Fells like Saosin
I can get that. I like the direction the band went in when Aaron joined. It seems like they really found that thing that made them shine in my opinion.
Lmfao! idk why, but thats the funniest shit ever. i seriously can't stop laughing
@RysicK This video has the old singer, in the description it says this video is from 2008, their other videos are from like 2010 with the other guy
yes
i met them and have a signed copy of they said a storm was coming.i met them at an el centro,CA show
2:15 I get chills everytime. So many haters though =/

I stopped listening to JE after Aaron left but a few of their songs post AP are pretty catchy.
Still like this guy better. Unique sound. That guitar flip still hurts my side😄.
@Fritz837 Funny, have you heard "Jack Black" live? Aaron Pauley, the new vocalist, is a very talented vocalist in a very underrated band.
This video made me very uncomfortable..
Was I violated?
I totally agree.
Feel filthy...
3:27 TUV on bass. 💀
this album was put out in like 2006, its really old, and look at the upload date, how are people confusing this as new material?? ... |:
when did they change lead singers?
OM&M is another really great band. Aaron's voice really appeals to me more. I will say that some of his dirty vocals sounds kinda bad, but it doesn't detract from the overall feel I get when I listen to The Mapmaker. I guess I ought to give Chris one more shot.

He's going to be a fucking beast with Of Mice & Men
this is the old Jamie's Elsewhere
El video no mola, pero la canción está genial. Tiene esa mezcla de voces que tanto nos gusta #Screamo
ahhhhhhh highschool :)
so glad Aaron Pauley came in to fix the vocals of the band holy CRAP
you dont remember youtube before vevo do you?
Anyone who knows if Chris Paterson (singer in the video) has joined any new band after leaving Jamie's Elsewhere?
Attack Attack ที่มี Crap core ก็ยังสู้ มือคีย์บอร์ด กับ มือกีตาร์ วงนี้ไม่ได้
พี่แกคงจะมันส์กันมาก
i agree
To each his own man. I totally get that.
