The important part is you still here. Still enjoy Demul on my machine that I built thanks to you and the rest of the team. I can enjoy my favorite F355 Challenge
P1pkin may i ask if you guys from the demul team are sega fans? Cause it seems the demul project is a love letter to all those unknown sega arcade games. But maybe you just like emulation in general and just want to widen the scope of the demul project

There is always room for improvement, but is there anything in particular that is not supported on it already? Demul is by far the most complete DC/Naomi/Atomiswave emulator. I've been able to play every title I've every tested in it with seemingly no bugs, not to mention support for cabinet add-ons. This here is a newly MAME supported game which actually wasn't supported by any emulator.
ner0 Demul can’t run “Kodai Ouja Kyouryuu King - Mezame yo! Arata-naru Chikara!! (Japan, Ver 4.000)”. At least mine isn’t working, even though I have all the required files, incl the CHD, it says “this game is not acceptable by mainboard”.
@@Prehistoreic The game in this video shares the same system and is also not supported by Demul (I'm assuming), yet the Demul dev is working to support it in MAME. Chances are that future support development will be carried out in MAME instead. Not just Sega System SP, further support and enhancements to MAME's Naomi/Atomiswave based systems driver is also being actively developed there by him. So technically, it does seem that Demul is dead in the sense that development is being poured elsewhere and, of all things, open source.
ner0 There are people that can play Kodai Ouja Kyouryuu King - Mezame yo! Arata-naru Chikara!! (Japan, Ver 4.000), but I’m not to sure which emulator they’re using. Demul doesn’t even pick up the title in the naomi list, while Mame just gives me the error screen. Would you have to use a Japanese emulator of some sort or is it supported on Retroarch instead?
@@Prehistoreic I doubt retroarch supports it, it piggies back on emulator cores and afaik for Sega System SP the only option is MAME. I really don't know. Maybe someone hacked a version of Demul to load the game, I seem to have read that in a blog about a naomi game that wasn't picked up after an update. Anyway, not enough information on that I'm afraid.
Another ROM dumped by the China or Taiwan game fanbase. I guess another one will come in a few years' time: either MushiKing, Love and Berry, or Dinosaur King.
"game fanbase" is too big words, this game was bought and dumped by single person, who previously also bring us Love&Berry China ver. I'd wish to see some Chinese community what will seek for undumped arcade games localised for China market, but sadly it doesn't exists...

(almost) everything is possible. it is a matter of how many of your time and resources you ready to invest into this
