I always admire Great Britain Esp the Royal MARINES COMMANDOS etc. Long life her Majesty the QUEEN 👑👑. N the greatest BRITISH Nation. She is also my former Colonizer. With love from KENYA.
A short Explanation of the comment: Some weeks ago the german armed forces hold their "Zapfenstreich" ceremony to honour their Afgahnistan veterans. But the BBC corespondent in Berlin thought that such "militaristic nonsense" does not fit in to modern times and asked the question: Können wir das bitte lassen? (can we please stop that?). So it became an idiom for a well performed hounourable tradition.
@@hanswurst-ft1ih The BBC are equally disrespectful to the British armed forces. Please do not think that the BBC represent British popular opinion. Do you have a TH-cam link for this Zapfenstreich ceremony? It would be my pleasure to watch it.
@@hanswurst-ft1ih I can only echo the comments that Guise has made. The BBC are nothing like the august institution they once were and are a complete disgrace at times. I too would be honoured to watch the Zapfenstreich ceremony.
From the USA, I found this wonderful, very moving.
The Band of H.M Royal Marines brings the long gone greatness ....

That's great!
(or as the BBC journalists would say: "Können wir das bitte lassen")
