People like these sizes and offsets for looks rather than performance. 5 minutes later these MR2s are underrated. Those wheels sizes and offsets are ideal for the MR2 if not slightly large. My MR2 came on 14x6/14x7 from the factory. 17x8/17x9 feels heavy though. Might go into the desert of 15" and 16" tire world and just pray something is streetable.
