The problem is the Ranveer Singh overdoes his personna and often blurs the line between onscreen and off screen life. Govinda , in general, is fairly understated off-screen, but he just totally switches it On in the movies. Which is why he comes across as a consummate entertainer. Whereas Ranveer comes across as 'excessive" for the lack of better word.
