MP SET 2024: Application Form (On 21st March), Dates (Out), Eligibility, Exam Pattern, Result
MP SET 2024 Application Form will be released on 21st March 2024 through online mode. MPSET (State Eligibility Test of Madhya Pradesh) is conducted by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, (MPPSC) for the award of Eligibility for assistant professor solely / lectureship.
The MP SET 2024 will be conducted through offline mode. SET 2024 examination consists of two Papers General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude, and a Selected (elective) subject. The first question paper will be of a total of 100 marks and the duration of the examination will be 60 minutes.
The second elective question paper will have 100 questions each carrying 2 marks. The duration of the second paper will be two hours.
The eligibility criteria for MP SET are as follows:
Candidates must have a master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 55% marks (50% marks for candidates belonging to the reserved category).
Candidates must also have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC.
To apply for MP SET, candidates must visit the official website of MPPSC and fill out an online application form.
The test paper for MP SET is divided into two parts - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is common to all candidates and is designed to test the candidate’s general awareness, research aptitude, and comprehension.
Paper 2 is subject-specific and is designed to test the candidate’s knowledge and expertise in their chosen subject. Both papers are of objective type and consist of multiple choice questions.
