I have played non-recon classes mainly up until recently but after being only able to use the Model 8 I think I'll enjoy the 2-shot kills at all ranges
It's a good gun. Reminds me a lot of the RSC in BF1: powerful, 2 shots kill, high vertical recoil. In BF5, I think the RSC is underwhelming. Maybe due to the fact I got used to its BF1 version =)
@@EmmaTheShark the bf1 rsc used to shoot slower before a patch and would 2 shot up to 50 m. After the ttk patch in bf1 , the 2 shot kill range got extended to 70 meters and the rsc shot faster I think 160-170 rof upgrade after the patch.
After hearing that there was a 10 to 25 round mag for this thing, now I want them in BF5. The self-loading rifles compared to how fast the semiautomatic rifles in assault class shoot, along with some being able to kill at long range with only 3-4 hits makes them a bit useless.
So a lot of the gaming community and youtubers made Apex Legends videos for a few weeks because they burned out of their current games and needed something different. It's a very good game and that's why a lot of streamers and youtubers played it and made videos on it.

super late but this gun is like rsc from bf1, tho if you use zh 29 as a camper then yea its g*y but if you play like aggressive then its cool, the most annoying thing on this game are the lmg prone campers man I thought they only exist in bf 1 but I'm wrong 😂

I love this gun, but they nerfed it to 3 shots kill. How the hell are we supposed to get the final mastery now? 20 Headshot kills on the objective in one round? As soon as you hit your target once, they're gonna make a run for it! It will be almost impossible to get!

i think all slrs in bfv are really underpowered currently (on pc at least) and semiautos are too strong on the assault, mainly because you can get similar ttk between gewehr 43 and zh-29/1906, with the exception of the gewehr 43 being more forgiving and usable at more ranges (no headshots) i don't see any merit in them aside from the RSC just cause that thing has decent reload speeds and can 2-shot up close, but at range it performs worse than a g43 (no headshots, however both are 3 shot body shot kills at minimum however the g43 has almost double the rpm and mag cap) imo semiautos need to be reworked a bit to be made harder to use at range and slrs need to be given something to make them more skilled weapons given their reduced rpm and capacity (e.g one shot headshots at close to medium range), as unironically atm the best slr is the fucking mkvi revolver

I suggest using the revolver instead of the gun as it is the gun has limited ammo so I just restrict it for medium to long range but in getting better at snapping to targets with the medium scope so try that

It used to be a one shot head shot in the beta kinda makes bolt action rifles pointless

The BF1 RSC is pretty much identical to the BFV one. It's the ZH-29 and Selbstlader 1906 doing more damage that makes it seem worse in V than 1.

One of the best guns in the game, the muzzle velocity is insane on this thing

the added recoil of those 3-4 shots make it hard to kill with semi-autos at long ranges though. This gun is perfect.

Try it at close range its crap which makes no sense every time I'll come up close to a soldier enemy 2 ft away and the bloody thing misses
