It's incredibly interesting seeing what my brain is registering as a toy based on the original Convoy set - what would be known as Optimus Prime - but filtered through what seems like a completely separate timeline's worth of design tweaks where it had ALWAYS been just "The Convoy" It's like if SD Gundam had always been the main toyline, with short, plucky robots, and then all of a sudden we were seeing new versions of the original, human-proportioned RX-78-2.
It is your work that showed me the world of Diaclone, and I thank you for it. I have been setting aside money for when this set comes to America, and I can see that I will not be disappointed. I love your channel!
I have to wonder what the little pieces on the inside of the base mode wall actually do - besides decorate the walls. Oh and this thing with additional trailers added on is proper nuts.

Historically illiterate ones too. Since this fella has not just Diaclone Convoy visual references, he also has similarities to The Transformers Battlestars combination of Grandus, Sky Garry and Star Convoy too.
I've seen people mounting Trijetter on it like a launch catapult - or if you want to be obscure- like The Aerialbot leader Silverbolt or something else launching off Ultra Magnus' (Powered Convoys) trailer. The repair bay mode - is a nice nod to Diaclone Convoy's vertical repair bay mode too,
