*Life is a gift*
I´ve struggled in teh past 5 or so years of my life, going through high school coming from my parents divorce, my dad a recovered alcoholic now was struggling back there, i saw that struggle face first, i had my own struggle i was really into porn, and it had taken a toll in me, my mental health and social life, also was becoming more and more introverted, acumulated pain and had no one to air out, so i was not doing good whatsoever
Then around march of 2024 some videos of Cliff Knechtle started to appear to me, and i saw the evidence behind the faith, and decided, "why not lets give it a shot"
fast forward around 9 months and a couple of depressive episodes later and here i am
3/1/2025 talking to you about the beauty my past struggles, and heving overcome all that i mentioned, because i decided to start following God, to this day i feel like im not following him, and i struggle to live up to the standard, it is hard to love everyone after all, and there is the loneliness at times
the life of a christian aint an easy one, and im not gonna sit here and try to tell you its all sunshines and rainbows, at times it is, but at other times it is cloudy, foggy, dark, cold, seems like its gonna start to rain and your roof is full of holes, but is on those moments when your faith is tested, and as saint paul said "We rejoice in our suffering" because suffering produces perseverance, perseverance endurance, and endurance strength
conclusion: After years of being a mess trynna find out what to do of my life, and feeling like i wasnt living a life worth living (wanting to kill myself) i found the love and joy i was lacking, all of it in the persona of Jesus Christ, and now im sharing the oportunity to get to know Jesus Christ to you
You can find him in the gospels, i personally recomend the NIV translation but you can use whichever you want

Is a verse that cheers me up when i need it, alongside a promise God made about beign there for us, lceaning our tears away, and comforting us
and i think it is truly beautifull to know that we have someone, who is a father to us, and shows us just how much he cares for us both in his future promises, and on the ways he works for our good
even when it is hard to see, thats why i love Jesus so much, because he loved me, when nobody else did (or so i felt)
and now that i know true love, i feel the need to share it to others, as im trying to do with you

@ its insensitive because a lot of people have trauma associated with religion and because the majority of people don't view your god as their "father " and you saying to someone "i wish you could trust in God, and feel and experience the things i had" isnt gonna make people feel better imo
