It's the actor (wukong's actor) that brings this film to life. His acting of Wu Kong's is so natural that people started calling him bald monkey (he is bald irl). They tried to remake the film/series without him alot of time in HK. But, the film just doesn't hit as much as the one in this video.
There were many versions made (many are newer) but this one is the best in my opinion. The storytelling, the humor, how the main actor portrayed Wukong, and chemistry between characters is on point. Even the costume and makeup is better than other versions.

張衛健演的悟空是我童年到現在覺得最好的版本
後期張衛健還有再拍也沒第一次拍的好看
悟空雖然桀驁不馴，但起因都是天庭一方的錯啊⋯⋯
地府時，判官自己搞錯，悟空不斷申辦但被置之不理。當然撕生死冊是不對的，但前一秒差點被無辜判死了，誰都會有脾氣吧
龍宮時，龍宮已經壓不住定海神針了，導致無數生命被淹死，之後自己還和悟空打賭看他能不能解決
結果這兩個主管都跑去玉帝那裡說到好像悟空沒事特地去地府撕生死冊，再跑去龍宮打人搶金箍棒
之後天庭用誘騙的方式讓悟空到天庭上班，上班了之後還要辱罵人。
一堆不公的對待，發洩些情緒，又派人來打悟空。被人打了，當然要反抗了，。最後打不過人，就捉人質來威脅，再往上報要上層出來解決，然後逼悟空反省
寫著寫著才發現西遊記完全體現出社會裡剛出來找工的年輕人的境遇
额，原著里面没提龙王压不住定海神针这事，反而是由于其存在才让东海平静。不过老龙王确实这事做的不厚道。
地府也沒搞錯啊，孫悟空的確是陽壽完了，又不是說練成七十二變就自動在生死簿上除名了，可能菩提教悟空法術時就知道悟空會闖下大禍，所以才不准孫悟空告訴別人他的法術是向誰學的
很明显，菩提老祖忽悠了悟空，所教的长生术只是走了后门，没有得到官方认证。
小時候讀西遊記也沒有覺得天庭是對的一方，長大後明白了其實吳承恩也從來不是要批判孫悟空，孫悟空單純就是先反抗後被招安

根據佛教的世界觀，佛可是跳脫三界六道，而這時的孫悟空或是天庭那班神仙只不過是在六道中的天道，所以佛能夠輕易打敗孫悟空。取了西經成為鬥戰勝佛的悟空就不同說了，實力完全碾壓那班天庭神仙。

对的。张之后的确没有。但张之前有六小龄童跟星爷。
六小龄童那个绝对封神了，那就是真正的孙悟空，属于艺术级别的。
星爷跟张是大众娱乐的孙悟空经典。演到很对大众胃口。
差别在这边
張衛健演的版本是最貼切，把悟空個性桀驁不馴發揮出來。而且張衛健還把孫悟空的性格是動物的本性與人的社會屬性的完美結合，猴子的機靈、頑皮、叛逆性和妥協性的性格特點，使悟空角色具有多層次性格特徵。而六小版本參考了戲曲化的猴戲，像猴子裝模作樣流於表面的行為，沒有對於悟空角色有深層的發掘。這是最可惜的😢
