@@gregorskiff really? I live there and have only had one alpha , approaching the boss fighting stage. He does have to watch out for those sea scorpions in the shipwreck though, they’ve caught me by surprise so many times

Love the Idea if digging heals into this series. There is no need to rush there will be a natural progression. I love the jump cuts but don’t be afraid to have longer clips of key steps in development and fun stuff. Longer episodes would be nice.

Same experience here, I’m in the 6th grade and in the 6th week of the first nine weeks I met someone called Isabella and then like I built a crush and in the 2nd nine weeks she said she liked me but then after I’d say 7 weeks of being together 1st period my friend Gabriella who was in front of me told me “how would I feel if Isabella broke up with me” I said “what? I can’t hear you” because I didn’t know what to say. I thought the worst and I basically cried through lunch time and then after 3rd period I asked her why Gabriella told me that and she said she just wanted to be friends, then I heard rumors she likes someone and she told me she did and then she told me she liked someone since the beggining of the school year and then my day was miserable after that. I recovered the day after and I asked her why. She didn’t want to say why she said she liked me so that made me even more deppressed, one day I said I guessed it, I thought she might of liked someone but then I told her I liked her because she’s the only one that payed attention to me and she’s downright beautiful, so she felt bad and then she didn’t want to be in the relationship anymore, so then she said sone of it is right. So now I think present day or day before today her friends told me why she broke up with me besides she liked someone, then I tried to talk to her but she went off with a friend, then may friend John, told me that Isabella had Omar ad a boyfriend now and he saw them hug and then I just basically lost hope, but I had one shot left at getting her back but no I was too much a pussie to do it. So now today I told her I knew and she doesn’t want to answer my questions because she thinks it will make it bad, but the more she resists the worse it makes it for me, because whenever I talk to her about the subject she either ignores me or runs away. So wish me luck and I want to thank Glock because I found his ark videos in the middle of that time so he helped me out a lot. Thank you for everything glock, f*** off cornmeal!
Hey Glock9, I love playing Ragnarok, It's one of my favorite maps in the game, i can give you a few tips on the map, It's one of the few maps with scorched earth content which allows you to pick up sand on the beaches and turn it into boomerangs, which are beautiful weapons for knocking things out from a distance, this in turn additionally allows you to make adobe housing which is great for a large amount of areas on ragnarok where it gets very hot, Adobe is the *only* building in the game that gives you additional heat and cold resistance.
Ragnarok also has whales across some of the beaches that you can harvest for spoiled meat, polymer, and oil, all extremely valuable resources for generators, high tech weaponry, and narcotics.
Later on, you can cave dive and do caves for higher quality weapons, you can even fish for better weapon or armor blueprints, which become invaluable on this map for reasons you can already guess.
Additionally, there are few Leedsichthys (if any) on this map, which makes raft travel safer unlike the island, I believe they spawn on the outer edges of the water, however.

I'm so excited for this series. As someone with tons of hours in Ark, it's impossible to see Ragnarok with "fresh eyes" anymore. But watching you explore it all is going to be AWESOME.

I absolutely love this series! Try putting a third level on and building a loft (open in center with stairs or a ladder to it) with a barn style roof. Simple to build, easy on the eyes.

I'm gonna tell you one the best tips i wish i knew earlier for this map, there's 5 red loot drop locations in the dessert you should get a flyer and bring 5 beds, 5 large storage chests and enough walls, foundation, etc to build 5 small 4x4 boxes next to the loot locations

Crazy spot on the beach. I built a castle across from that beach at the rock castles built a bridge to the other side of the bay. Had a few brews. Tamed some monsters. Dock for megladon. There is a spot Near the middle of the bay the two rocks are touching. Great amount of metal right at the very end of the beach. Ooh peg the birds 😂😂

Your leveling up idea is good in theory however I have found that going straight to building stone foundations, or rafts will level you up faster than anything no matter the server settings 👍🏻 love the continuation of the Ark series Glock, keep it up!

That waterfall is where we built our first base our second was at Viking bay 3 and now we have one at the scar easier to get wyverns lol
Here is some tips from an Ark veteran:
1. This map is difficult to traverse. You are gonna want a flyer. You wanna go from Pteranodon to Argie to Griffin and/or Wyvern.
2. The best base spot is near the big castle. It’s a flat plateau area East of it. You can build some dope ass bases there.
3. There are several caves (I.e Lava Golem Cave and Ice Worm Cave) that give insane loot when you kill the boss. You can find some good tutorials on that on Nooblet’s channel.
4. There is a desert area to the south that will allow you to get recourses that are only available on Scorched.
5. The very NE of this map has an area called the highlands. It is an AMAZING place to tame a high lvl Giga. You can easily find a lvl 130+ there.
6. Because this map is not canon, there is a higher chance of high lvl spawns. You don’t have to search and kill for years to find high lvls.

that castle on the hill is a cave entrance if i remember right, it is swarming with bats that i do remember. if it wont let you place a foundation then that is a beacon location more than likely or close to a cave . there is a setting you can allow building on those spots if you want. there are caves you can fly a wyvern into and i HIGHLY suggest you do lol. treat all areas except the 3 islands on the right side / east side of the map as death zones lol. there are dead whales on the beach that give you spoiled meat and karatin , a lot of it . good luck and good vid 👍
Where you first start the game was a perfect place to set camp. I build in top of the rock with the hole. It have metal obsidian and it’s plenty of mats around. Plus you close from some boxes that spawn on the beach that give good starters loot, like metal hatcher. But I get it you wanted to explore I literary did the same but then I decide to go back. Thanks for these videos. I hope to see Simon in the last battle from this serie. 😉👍 you know what I mean lol

There's a waterfall just a bit from where you started building. Behind it is a very safe/open space. One of my favorite spots to build on this map.

I would recommend building your house on the hill next to the blue obelisk. It is near iron, stone, water, decent dinos, obsidian, archies, and crystal. Oh and also there aren’t any aggressive dinos in immediate proximity

Fun fact about Ragnarok, there are more high level dinos than on the island, it has a better "level curve". If you ever jump from map to map with the same character, it's fun to grab dinos on Rag, then take them to whatever story map you're playing(except aberration, there are some weird transfer rules there I think).
They should make it where the pegos don't target you unless you have stuff in your inventory,Anyways where do we store our stuff?

I try to tame a parasaur as quick as I can. Being able to carry a ton of stuff on a single trip really comes in handy. Plus the saddle is pretty early on so makes for great gathering.
A lot of the waterfalls on Ragnarok have caves hidden behind them. If you travel further inland along the coast past the underpass (should be east) there is a big waterfall with a huge cave behind it. Lots of crystal and metal. Make for great hidden base locations too.
Glock9 not unlocking bed gave me anxiety thats one of the major things to get

Me and some friends set up base by the waterfall, it was inefficient, but a small cluster of Viking style long houses looked nice there.
You should look into building in the pirate cave. It’s close by and has tons of resources in close proximity. It also has air, ground and water entrances. Tons of room for Dino’s as well. Walls and gate across ground entrance make it secure. Oh, and there’s otters there too.
Can't wait till he figures out there's dragons on this island in Griffin

Solid start Glock. Working through all the tiers and upgrading for the added EXP is what I always do. Ragnarok is one of the best maps. Enjoy this series and take your time sir. This should be a great ride for your viewers. I am sure there are plenty of people here who can help you with any stuck places you encounter.
Legend says that when Glock9 spawns onto a map, the dinos quake in fear.

Hey Glock, in the engram learning menu you could click on the icon on top right to show more engram from other map.
Ragnarok allow you to learn engram from Scorch earth so click on the scorch earth icon to show them so you could learn the best tool, the chainsaw.
Lots of good caves to put bases in on this map. A really good one has an entrance near where you are 20.4° Lat, 24.0° Lon
it may get hard in this part of the map, you got rexes near by and a lot of raptors and other annoying creatures - i prefer to go highlands as there you got sheep to tame pteranodon, crystal in tiny caves where you don't have to fight and rarely predators - well, there do spawn Gigas so... in the highlands coast area you will find beached whales, if you do so, harvest them with tools and you will be surprised - best tool would be chainsaw so if you ever get a blueprint or a actual chainsaw - use it for harvesting! But for now go to the BLUE obelisk - there you will find wooden crates, open them with a stone pick or any other tool and you should be rewarded :) Ragna will be a nice adventure. oh one thing - you could go to a obelisk or drop and upload a creature - it will be in there 24 hours, and you could download it on another drop in that time period. best for that would be cryopod- in Ark data - not creatures but yeah... maybe try it with a dodo or something you are not afraid to loose
I love this spot your settling in go further ahead and there's a waterfall you can go through and there's a huge awesome cave and I even found otters a couple times and the sarco is really good cause it fits in perfect and can swim around without trouble plus the huge water bit outside in the middle
And finished your first series start to finish only snack and toilet brakes binged the whole thing love it bro
That first waterfall you saw me and my friend built our house on top of it, it's 2 ponds and a cave and like unlimited fish
Also just so you know right down the beach there if you go to where the other bones are behind the waterfall there's a cave inside of there it's a nice place to build too. Very safe lots of water close by plenty of room to work with

Ragnarok is by far my favorite map. It's the biggest and has so many cool spots and hidden areas
There is some neat caves behind waterfalls and a huge cave under the ocean in viking bay that connects to the castle
Find the crates behind the blue obb. Also there are potatoes and carrots around the map.
Ok ok so at your current base location - you’re going to need chitin soon obviously. The lobsters in the bay are a good way to get it. They are also way faster than you think they are (even on land) and they’ll knock you out and kill you. But they stay at the bottom so you can shoot them with a bow or crossbow and kill them and then go harvest them. There are also loot boxes at the bottom of that bay and oil rocks. Watch out for megalodons too but you can always tame them, also try to tame the whale (basi) and all the dolphins by passive taming. I love ragnarok if you can’t tell :)

Good spot to build, but sometimes bad stuff comes falling off of the cliffs above the rib cage. Also, your starting spot is one of the best metal deposits on the map - easy to get to, and relatively safe for an anky.
I think im going to follow this series, only just found you. Im on rag with character no. 4. Everyone plays different but i normally pump speed to at least 112% as you can normally outrun raptors around that number. also you don't need to keep dumping stuff in your hotbar to place them, just hit E on them in inventory & the meat just hit the split all option, if your not hungry that is lol :)

Eurypterids are only down deep. For some reason though, you get deep water creatures on the south beach of crystal isles, that's pretty much the exception.
@@slenderman4788 There's a eurypterid spawn in Viking Bay around the sunken boat close to where he's built and they do come onto the beach, seen a people ko'd by them

Glock if you follow the beach i mean really hug the water back to your spawn you will find wooden boxes on the beach break them they will give you some good loot for beginners metal tools and such love the videos
My idea of xp farming is crafting a mortor and pestle gathering flint,stone and fiber then crafting sparkpowder and cloth hats at the same time. But you for sure are doing it right building that way to gain the xp its more grindy but it works

I agree with you on the thatch/xp thing. Another reason I do it though, and I know this is a little silly but whatever, is simply for role-play. My character would be using the most basic materials first, that makes sense. Strictly speaking I could skip thatch and wood and go directly to stone but it wouldn't feel very realistic.

There are boxes along the beach that you can break open that have great starting supplies in them towards the south
Hey Glock you might want to lower the egg laying setting, depends on if you're arsed about making kibble or not (you should be, taming with prime meat is about as much use as cornmeal 😁) 3.0 means a mate boosted female has a chance of laying an egg every 51 mins, 1.0 is 17 mins, having an oviraptor near them filled with stone and put on wander reduces it to every 11 mins
Also you've got PvE mode enabled but Allow Flyer Carry PVE is disabled so you won't be able to pick wild dinos up, I'd leave PvE mode checked as it get's rid of cryo sickness which doesn't really matter in single player, and also the 2 No Resource Radius settings could do with being 1.0 or lower otherwise you'll get a massive area with no resources respawning around you

Parasaours are really good for starter dinos you can rode them around in the dark and use there scanning ability to search for hostile threats
There is a viking ship in that bay that has crates which give you metal tools and weapons and a treasure chest that you can open when you’re level 50. But watch out, there are water scorpions that will knock you out snd drown you!
