Exactly. It showed the Japanese viewers as thoughtful, intelligent people…the older dude he interviewed, he was especially impressive… I’m very glad they made this vid…
I myself was following the mainstream media right after the release of the movie in japan to know the reaction of the public towards the film. This video really shocked me that ground reality was not showed by the mainstream media. But the biggest shock was, for me, the last guy who said I'm Chinese 😂. Wasn't expecting that.😂😂😂 Great video❤.
I grew up with people who were friends with Harry S Truman. On the way to Japan seeing everyone on the plane, I had to hide my tears. It still sears my soul.
Thank you for the review. For some reason other reviews emphasized how America annihilated hundreds of thousands of innocent lives but this is so much better because Oppenheimer doesn’t glorify the atomic bombings or ANY nuclear attacks whatsoever
I mean well it’s true that happened, if the imperial Japanese weren’t stopped things would have been much worse. Actually even before the bomb I’d say imperial Japan inflicted more damage than that bomb ever did. Basically war bad, bomb or not
Great video! It's tough because although the bomb droppings were used as a defense to stop Japan from attacking, they obviously had more power than anyone could have imagined and overall, it was the wrong thing to do. There were moments in the film where the scientists talked about showing Japan the weapons they had rather than actually using them, but President Truman had other ideas. Building the bombs were necessary, however, using them should have never happened. Over 100,000 civilians had to pay the price.
I didn't know about Dr. Nishina until the elder gentleman mentioned it; I really appreciated his insight
This is exactly what I was looking for. On the news it seemed like they were deliberately looking for negative viewpoints.
Thank you so much!!! Yes, always traditional media want to portrait it as negative thing. I will show you the real voices!!

1:47 She’s not completely wrong. Just not in the correct category of crazy.
