Hey Jordy! You’re one of the very FEW channels that has someone that is as good of teacher as they are carver. Not many break it down the way you do! Wish you all the best and success. I appreciate you my friend. Salute from Massachusetts

Thanks, thanks, thanks! I’ve been at this saw dust making for awhile now. It is the details that add value to my pieces, eyes, teeth, claws, etc….I’m learning every time I carve, always think of myself a a beginner. The one skill that has to be learned by doing and doing is control of my tools, the rotary tools and burrs take a level of skill to appear “easy”…..not “easy” at all. The chainsaw? Fine line between oh shit, and sweet!
All that fuzzy grain looks like some green white pine I’ve been playing with this winter, been burning off the fuzz, then carving off more…repeat. I’ve got a bunch of pine bucked up and stored in my dry shed, I’ll see how it carves in a year or so. Great eyes.

Hi Jordy. Don't take this the wrong way. But when hanging up your tools hang from the tool. not the cable. As the wires can pull or loosen out your power tool. Great videos Can you do one on how to carve the spirit with no eyes ( Just the eye part ) Respects.

You are a great teacher Jordy! I was a machining and welding instructor in the USAF for 4yrs so I know how difficult it can be to get the technical skills and information across and I think you do a great job. Also have you considered a head mounted camera of some kind for when you have to get in front of the carving.
