would love to see more ideas around how to make yummy meals out of random cupboard and fridge food which you have shown in this video - it's really fun to try new recipes and get all the ingredients for them, but I'm sure you'd agree that food waste is something that needs tackling too!
Eating times are so interesting! I’m Finnish and we wake up at 6am (bed by 9.30pm) so we eat dinner around 4pm. But we have an evening snack around 19.00 (yogurt and bread or something like). We have a 9 month old so that affects a bit and I also don’t sleep well if I eat heavy food after 6pm. Thanks for a great channel 😊
In Italy, we have dinner pretty late, my boyfriend is from the south and they eat at 9pm sometimes, at better 8 but I'm from the North and we always tend to eat before 8pm!
During the work week I eat right after I get back from work, so around 6. On the weekends it's around 7 because I wake up a little later. I've been vegan for 7+ years but still love watching these. 😍
I live in Northern Italy and I prefer to eat early and go to bed early. My ideal dinner time is around 6.30pm - 7.00pm. I run a small restaurant and I usually meal prep a bit when I am home, so that I do not have to worry too much. Roxie's smile when she is rolling on your kitchen floor just made my day :D what a cutie
I'm Swedish and we eat around seven on week days and a bit later (around eight) on the weekends. I also get very hungry, but the food we eat usually takes about one hour to prepare. P.S. Love your autenticity and vibe! Your one of my favorite youtubers. You always take the pressure of and I love to watch your content when I'm stressed. It always calms me down! 🥰
Love the video as always, I think you are so right about the weather impacting dinner time. In the winter we eat between 7 & 8, in summer never before 8.30. I'm in the South East of France.
I’m half dutch half Indonesian born and living in the Netherlands. But food culturally raised Indonesian so I usually ate after 7 pm. But the standard here in the Netherlands is like 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
I have a 9 & 5 year old, so we eat about 530/6pm. I live in the US, but I’m Greek. And… I just don’t like vegan cheese. I’d rather just skip it. Thanks for all the great ideas! Happy New Year
Such delicious recipes, I’m a vegetarian and have been for 51 of my 54 years of age! It was my own choice as a child, much to the dismay of my poor Mum lol! We eat dinner between 5pm-7pm normally. Will def try some of these recipes! Happy New Year to you both 😊
@@andreadoolan416 yes lol! I loved animals from a very young age. One day I was sitting at the table with my older sister and asked what we was eating? And she said - meat and I asked what meat was and she replied animals - and that was it from that day, I refused to eat meat or fish! My poor Mum!
I’m from Germany and on workdays (9-6) I have breakfast at around 7am, lunch between 12-1pm, a snack at around 4pm and dinner at 7pm. I’ll usually have a small snack at around 9pm before I sleep :)
I'm the same as you, I like to eat between 6 and 7. I don't like eating late, I don't go to bed late so want to have plenty of time inbetween. I'm from Northern Ireland 💕
I like dinner around 8pm. I’m in America, and have only lived in large cities like Chicago/ NY/ LA. I find that my friends without children who live in cities and work a lot also eat about 8pm. Most people I know don’t even get off work till 6pm. Then they go home, change, go back out or start cooking. So yeah, about 8. However my friends with kids? VERY different story. Dinner is a LOT earlier, both because the kids eat earlier but also they wake up much earlier to take care of the kids before work (I don’t have many friends who are stay at home parents. I know exactly one.) And when I’ve traveled/ stayed in smaller towns people also seem to eat earlier. At least restaurants seem to close/ stop serving early. I’m not sure what they do at home.
I live in America grew up with both parents working during the day my comfortable dinner time is 8pm-10pm. Alot of people here eat between 5-7pm. My grandparents eat dinner between 1-6pm which makes me eat again before bed because i get hungry again.
American, and I grew up eating dinner 7-8pm as a kid. But that was because my dad was an entrepreneur who worked long days, and having dinner together was important to him. We were definitely the odd ones out, most other families eat around 6pm.
We lived in Canada for years so got used to eat late, like 8-9pm, so we eat back in England about 7.30-8pm now. We snack at about 4pm to tide us over!!
I live in the U.S. and my husband and we usually eat between 5-6 p.m. My husband gets up at 4:45 a.m. so he needs to be in bed by 8:00 p.m. I usually skip breakfast, eat an early lunch and I am ready for dinner by 5-5:30 p.m. Since I stay up later I usually have a snack after my husband goes to bed.
I live in Canada and it honestly really depends on each individual family for when they eat dinner. My family has always eaten between 5-6 (typically 6-7 for holiday dinners or going out for dinner). But I know some families will wait until 7/8 and some who eat even later than that. A big part of it also has to do with cultural aspects. I used to have a roommate where she grew up not eating dinner until it's dark out (so in the summer months she wasn't having dinner until around 10-11 pm). I can't remember the exact reasoning, but she chose to stick with it even after moving to Canada.
Love your food, the big portions, absolutely no need for small portions when eating such goodness. You guys look amazing, a great advert for how when doing Vegan right, it works.x
That bread looks professional!! Love these recipe ideas, thank you! We live in America and eat between 8-9 as well, but usually have a small salad or snack around 5 (:
Hi from US - I like eating between 5 pm - 6 pm. I don’t want to have a full stomach when I go to bed . Love your channel - you have a bit of everything! I love avocado toast too!
All those meals looked delicious. I'm also obsessed with avocado toast in the morning! I noticed you were having your Athletic Greens with food; I read that for maximum absorption it's best drank on an empty stomach and at least 30 minutes before eating. Just a thought as it's not cheap! I've been using it myself for a couple of years. All the best to you both; love watching your videos.
I love the meals that you and Alex make (that crusty loaf, especially). Green Chef looks great, and I do like that it helps you to try something new! I’ve sent the link to my son who lives in the UK.
if I don't have classes, I eat dinner usually around 6-8pm, depending on when I woke up and how hungry I am! I live in finland, and some people here actually have dinner around 5pm already when they get off work but I feel like realistically it's around 6pm when most people have dinner here
I was thinking... what about adding the drinks you have in the week. I always love to see kombuchas etc being reviewed. Helps me decide what to try next. Xx
I usually get home from work at 8.20 pm so our dinner is between 8.30 and 9pm. But here in Portugal it's usual to eat dinner at 8pm. Love your videos ❤️
I love easy vegan dishes. I´m from austria and we usually eat dinner between 6 and 7, but definitely not later than 8 ;) I have to admit that I wake up early and go to bed at around 9.
Yummy 😋 food in this awesome what Madeleine ate in a week vlog and love 🥰 it. Great recipes and happy veganuary.I usually eat breakfast between 6:00-7:00am, lunch between 12:00-13:00 and dinner 16:00-17:00 (usually between 15:00-16:00 if I have had no lunch which means it's lunch/dinner combined but if eating out it's between 17:00-18:00 because after 17:00 I am not in the mood to cook). Love 💕 Madeleine & Alex.
In Italy, we have dinner pretty late, my boyfriend is from the south and they eat at 9pm sometimes, at better 8 but I'm from the North and we always tend to eat before 8pm! In summer especially we eat much more later than in winter because of the sun
For pizzas there is a video by Laura in the kitchen about how to precooked the pizza dough to have ready to bake pizza crusts like you would buy in the store. I think she half bakes them then puts in the freezer after cooled down
The US is generally known for eating quite early. Especially in rural areas. For me, dinner is usually 5:30-6:30, but can be as early as 5pm. This is an old university habit for me, as I went to a work college with a farm and we had very set meal times. My brain is still on that schedule that revolves around farm life. Plus I personally think eating right before you go to bed probably isn’t that good for you. It can cause indigestion.
Usually I don't really enjoy long videos but I love yours! Everything looks incredibly delicious 😊 And I love to eat at 6 as well (which is a quite traditional time in Germany) 😅
Hi cutie,. I have my dinner by 6.30 pm....i am from India. Normally, people/families here have dinner at 9 or 9.30 pm. That sandwich you made looked so scrumptious....and the sound of the freshly baked bread being sliced ❤️❤️.... and basil coriander pesto is my absolute fav spread for any sandwich i make.... I envy Alex's skill in baking bread.... It always turns out a flop for me....
Hey! Madeleine I really really enjoyed watching your what I eat in a week vlog so so much you are my inspiration and I wish you reach 600K Subscribers very very soon!☺️💫❣️

Canada! I'm between 5:30-6:30 usually. I get too hungry if it's any later. But then I also usually have a substantial bedtime snack. I'm a four meal human 😂
I live in Belgium and I used to eat at 6pm (or around it). But now, with work and everything, I eat around 8pm. I don’t really like it though, I prefer to eat earlier because, like you, I’m a morning person so I wake up really early 😅
I need to eat before 7.30pm due to having acid reflux. Any later than this and I'm I'm agony from the acid. The filo pastry pie looks amazing and would be light enough for my digestive system. Thanks for the video and ideas 💡 😀
😂😂 going out to dinner in Italy at 7pm you’d be arriving with the chefs 😆 After 10 years I still can’t adapt to eating dinner before 8pm at the very earliest possible.

I like some vegan cheeses but for the price I just simply don’t buy them, just use nutritional yeast
Hi, I’m in Leicestershire in the UK, Really informative, thanks for sharing. Good to see what’s in the Green Chef boxes.

We did eat dinner at 7:30 when our daughter was growing up but bumped it up to 7:00pm in the last few years. We in North Carolina USA.

Hey everyone, the Vegetarian Butcher Meatballs are vegetarian, not vegan. ✌🏻but many other products of them are vegan

Great video. I try to eat between 6-7 depends when hubbie finishes work. Any later it clashes with my son's bedtime routine 😴

"its softer than I thought it would be".. Alex: that's what she said hahaha did anyone else hear this
How funny, the vegetarian butcher is a Dutch company, here it's called 'de vegetarische slager.' That's the vegetarian butcher in Dutch.
6:17 Those vegetarian butcher meatballs contain egg and they are not vegan. It happened to me once because not all of their products are vegan x
Loved this video. Thank you for sharing. Need to look 👀 at green chef. Love the fact that recipe is written well. Please can I ask where the bowls are from? X
I've never understood eating at 8pm, it's just so close to falling asleep I don't want that many kjs that close to sleeping. Much rather 5pm - 6pm then only drinks after that. My body hates me if I eat later.
I’m in Australia and our family has dinner between 5-6
New to channel .love the content but please list music selection you have used.espically 1st one when you made dinner.
As a German I have to say: this bread is eye candy
Love the food content, as always! Was that a tracksuit or pyjamas you were wearing when making pizzas? Love the colour, where is it from?
