Then after she was reborn, she hated him... Duh!! And she started to have feeling for his younger brother. You really should watch the whole drama. It might be little confusing but by watching it you will eventually understand everything. This drama is worth you time even though it might make you cryy A LOT!

Yeah things like thats what' makes them appealing. I fell in love him after I've watched future 1st love then he also in Overlord he's handsome sametime dorky cute and never knew till now that he could act in a serious way like this his very effective actor if I think they give him more serious dramas esp historical his acting here is very Korean actor vibes so lit .
The actor portraying the new Emperor seems to be often cast as "devious characters", We know from the 2nd Episode how he covered up the apparent murder of this first born son so that he could gain control of his concubiines' private army. Once his tursting wife (Empress) learns of that its all over between them. And of course we audience all know where this story is heading.
@@kathhqq7 I finished the drama a few days ago and Ah Ran never actually overcame the fact that she lost her child. She fell deeply in love with the 2nd Prince (the younger brother of her evil ex husband) but she never actually was happy. She was always depressed 😥
@@tastesweet9027 In legend of xiao chuo I still kinda consider him a villain because he stole his best friend’s lover while knowing they were engaged , later he neglected almost all his responsibilities as an emperor , she had to take care of the empire for him , than towards the end he even took a concubine in secret she had to find that out from others.
I really want to watch this drama and don't mind paying to subscribe either but the English subtitle is very badly translated. I can get a gist of what they are saying but the subtitles take me out of the scenes and I can't take it seriously. Looks like they used google translation instead of paying for a real translator. Forgotten one drama. One & Only , starred by Bai Lu & Ren Jia Lun, is still one of the saddest drama especially with my fav actor & actress. Both ML & FL died. Very extreme sad ending. Due to it, they are unable to get good rate earlier. Thereafter, they came up with Forever & Ever, finally both the rates went up. Both storyline is as good and all the performances of the actors and actresses are so astounding.

This drama/movie is too much of killing innocent people because of greediness, power struggle and I am on episode 3 I still believe that retribution will come to those evil people.They will not get away from punishments from Almighty God and from people.
Think of it as a preface/prelude act as the drama plot's main focus is on her revenge and her love story with the younger brother...so they had to fast act the storyline to explain why she is seeking revenge when given a 2nd chance in life...the beef/meat of the story doesn't really happen until after episode three...from then on the plot thickens and gets more interesting.

Is it me or does this timeline keep skipping a lot? 3rd episode and so much happened.
