    Le cornet à bouquin est un magnifique instrument, plus doux et nuancé que la trompette/cornet. Ces 2 instruments (cornet+orgue) vont très bien ensemble et sont très bien joués.

    Complimenti, gli strumenti antichi hanno il potere di rievocare atmosfere che non si possono ottenere con quelli moderni.

    Damn, I usually carry a recorder while travelling but this recording might have sold me on trying my fingers (and lips even more) on a cornetto instead!
    Since I'll carry it around, would you recommend the "perfettio" by Ricardo Simian ?
    Gros merci pour vos vidéos mises sur TH-cam!

    • @SeicentoStravagante
      @SeicentoStravagante  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hello Damezca and thank you a lot for you kind words. Concerning the instrument, I've never tried a "perfetto" cornetto. I owned in the past a 440Hz "regular" 3d printed cornetto by Ricardo and it was a pretty nice instrument to take the first steps in the cornetto world. I can suggest you to consider a straight cornetto by Andrea Inghisciano: for half price of a curved cornetto you can get a professional wood instrument: I currently own a 465Hz and a 520Hz and both are AMAZING instruments. Besides the sound of those instruments, they are "acoustically" correct, that means that the intonation it's really good (you can agree that intonation is the main issue on a cornetto). Take a look to Andrea's FB page for more info: facebook.com/pages/category/Musical-Instrument-Store/Cornetti-by-Andrea-Inghisciano-2452310794820145/

    What's with the extra dangly bit of string? Wily mouthpiece that likes to run away? 😂

    • @SeicentoStravagante
      @SeicentoStravagante  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This way I have enough string to quickly re-tune my cornetto. During a performance the tendency (due mainly to lip fatigue) is to go sharp, so IMHO it's good to have a fast solution to be able to play in tune

    • @JHouse4
      @JHouse4 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh I see, that's interesting. Why not thinner thread covering more of the length like a historical oboe reed? Or is it just too difficult to get it to consistently hold a steady depth?@@SeicentoStravagante

    • @SeicentoStravagante
      @SeicentoStravagante  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      With a thicker string it's easier and faster. Think that it happens in the middle of a performance: with a thinner string you need much more time to get the right amount of string. @@JHouse4
