Definitely. Hearing the “ace in the hole” joke was an exciting moment. I actually went back to ensure I heard it correctly. I completely expected it to remain a thing only people who knew the orientations of the characters beforehand to speak about. Seeing it onscreen made me so happy. With some ace, aro and/or aroace people left with a sense that something is wrong (myself included), Amir taking the time to understand what the titles mean, even at a general definition, is heartwarming. And the added confirmation that Alastor isn’t only ace, but aroace makes it even better. Now people who only know asexual can find out what aromantic is (or vice versa)🩵 Big preesh to Viv for not holding back on making all the openly queer characters… even if some might not know what it means 😂
