GALAXY WILDCAT REVIEW - PART TWO - SEA TEST

- In this second episode, we venture out fishing to give the "Galaxy Wildcat" a first initial runout and my unbiased thoughts on the performance of said kayak.
It shows lots of positive things with craft, which I love, along with a few negative things, that needed attention/tweaks, but overall a fair trial with a few quality fish thrown in for good measure 😀
Hope you enjoy

I got myself a galaxy wahoo recently, it’s a great little kayak, I’ve fitted a water snake 34 lbs trolling motor to it,powered by lithium phosphate batteries , it’s a game changer, I did it because I got caught out by the wind and tide a month back, it took me offshore by about 2 k, took me over an hour to paddle back.
love this evaluation..so the main advantage over the preload is the pedal drive for lure/hands free etc, and maybe the comfy high seat.. I have a profish 400 and I'm thinking the bixby drive system would amount to the same thing without the potential mechanical issues with the pedal system etc..mind you it costs as much as a galaxy..tricky
@sn00pgreen nice dilemma to have,...... think there are still probs with bixby drive, albeit I was out on a reload recently that had the bixby fitted.... it was awesome 👌
Great video!!
Cheers.
Excellent video, just subscribed. I’ve been looking to buy a kayak ready for a bit of bass fishing when I retire. I’ve previously been looking at Hobies but they’re so expensive, hence looking at the Galaxy kayaks. Pete
Thanks for your comments buddy, yes those Hobies are toppy .. wildcat good for your requirements... check out

Great honest report, this will help a lot of people
Thanks Derek, appreciated 🙏
Very thorough review & test. Glad you got all the kinks worked out. Great customer service can be hard to find these days. It got a little choppy out there.
Thanks buddy part three to follow shortly 👍
Brilliant review. Appreciate the honest approach. I live near Shoreham and fish the same areas, so very relevant for me. Was hoping to pull the trigger on one of these today but am in two minds whether to go for a kayak or a SIB due to the teething problems and storage being easier...
Glad it was helpful!, will do a complete walk through review over next few day's so maybe watch that as will hopefully help you👍, thanks for your comments 😀
Mate how the hell do do speak to these people?..I have a Blaze and just unboxed the cruze ultra to go with my tarpon 100 for fishing etc. Ive never been able to get through to a single employee to talk details.. I like the product just the WORST customer contact experience ever..nonexistent - I just get through to a 3rd party call centre who "Pass things on" - no one ever gets back...ever....any thoughts?
Good sesh...subbed -
edit having watched more...You are levels up on gear than me obviously...Im guessing they don't speak to plebs ;-) I'd understand if it was a startup - i have not had your experience regards customer service.
Graham is a mystical figure if you order from their website perhaps!
@mrkey1003 on the issues that I've experienced they were resolved asap, maybe because I did a review..not sure... my advice to you would be to go onto website and just start a live chat..... someone will come back to you show interested in a product..... then you can air your concerns there👍
@@targetfishing5286 Thanks for reply mate...as you can tell it did my nut a bit - slick adverts for product and 3rd party contact etc..I miss the human level in a purchase - maybe that will come back around 1 day! Look forward to seeing more vids eh. Cheers
Me podrías enseñar el sistema de rodillo que llevas en el auto para subir el kayak, gracias
Good video Danny
Thanks fella 👍
hi there, just wonder what trolley you use for the kayak and where do you store it when your on the water? the picture snad unboxing i've seen there isn't much room in the front hatch. thanks,
Hi, I generally launch then put trolling back in van, but there's plenty of room in rear of yak to strap down.....hope this helps
thanks for answering, yea that's very helpful, i wouldn't be able to take it back, so i just wanted to make sure there was enough room in the back.
