FIMI Manta from Banggood bit.ly/48MpkzK
INAV 7.1 will add a full support to tail sitter type of VTOL. INAV 7 already supports other kinds of Vertical Takeoff Or Landing crafts, but tail sitters were not fully supported. It was possible to build one, but a lot of features were just not working like expected on tail sitter VTOLs.
INAV 7.1 changes that! All functions, including navigation will work!

Sir, INAV 7.1.1 version has also been released but the mixing of VTOL plane has not come yet
Sweet! Thanks, Pawel! 😊
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Amazing work, thank you!🙏🏽
Currently building a standard VTOL. Fixed Quad Drive and Puller motor for Fixed wing. Hope INAV 7 will handle it fine. I haven't seen any videos on such a configuration, only tilt rotor
Good afternoon. For pensioners, there are step-by-step instructions on how to set up a vertical take-off with two engines. Thank you very much.
Hope soon will be possible set mixer manually and VTOL X Quad with 1 pusher motor will be possible to easy setup.
Yes sure, but witch mixer is for tailsitter phase, can't find anything in RC1. THX
Will INAV also support Belly Sitter VTOL?
example: the FIMI Manta shown in the video could be easily converted to Belly Sitter just by removing the propeller on the rear motor (or adjusting C/G if motor removed). To convert to Tail Sitter would requiring modifications so could be armed and launched vertically.
You mean a bicopter? Yes, INAV supports bicopters
@@FPVBites A belly sitter has two motors with servos like bicopter, so hovers like one; but for takeoff position is sample as a fixed-wing. The initial takeoff sequence is to lift up to a tail down position. (propellers remain parallel to the horizon)
A bicopter in contrast has landing support (gear/structure) that stabilizes so motors already in hover position.
2 servos that can control the flaps? Do that motors need tilt also for tail sitter?
no need to tilt the motors. the simpliest form of a VTOL is a wing with two fixed mounted motors and two servos for elevons. four channels in total for the flight controller.
Does INAV 7.1 offer any benefits to the quadcopter pilots over INAV 7.0?
some bugs fixed of course
Thank you. I'll flash it soon.
