Great video as always. For the abyss runs, I think it'd be interesting to see the times the team without the test character could achieve, i.e. Bennet, XQ, XL. Characters like XL provide so much damage by themselves.
I tried my C1 Heizou (the game scams me so much for Thoma and Ningguang that it gave me C1 Heizou, not complaining though) with some viridescent artifacts I had already farmed (4-piece), at lvl 60 with Lvl 90 Widsith and Bennet, Xingqiu and Zhongli. Got his lvl 4 E to do 55k anemo damage on the ruin serpent, was impressed, although it's usually around 20-30k with full stacks.
He technically contributes a significant amount of damage to those teams because he has VV shred and the onfield swirls for the electro-charged teams (which Sucrose can do). However, if we give the National team VV from any source (let's say level 1 anemo Traveler), then it won't look very good for him. Especially if we compare him to Sucrose in like any team. I think most of his utility is in his ability to hold VV and TTDS and give 80 EM to his team, but Sucrose can do all of that. So basically he's a use him if you like his design/personality/playstyle character, ignore him if you're indifferent. Or use him if you need 2 Sucrose and don't have Kazuha
I See heizou as a decent char for a 4 star compared to other inazuma 4stars for players that dont have sucrose he is good to have however sucrose is indeed better for team support and dmg buffs, HOWEVER heizou is aesthetically more fun to use and visually more appealing then sucrose. I mean he is our 1st male catalyst as well as our 1st real hand to hand melee unit in the game so yeah.
I love him endlessly! 🥺 His personality is very lively and fun, he's definitely got Ranpo's personality from Bungou Stray Dogs (love the show loads!). As soon as I got him, I leveled him up to 90 and got his talents to 9,9,9 🥰 I had his artifacts (2 pc anemo damage bonus and 2 pc gladiator atk bonus) prepared along with a lvl 90 Widsith at R3! His crit ratio is around 56/184; he sometimes hits around 52k when I hold his E down (without Sucrose, Mona, and Bennet buff, I have none of them built nor Mona on this account since I have two 😅)🙏🌟 I was only about to get him at C0 though, but that is alright! I'll have his C6 from future banners because I'm broke in wishes right now 🥰 I also got a surprise Qiqi at 44 pity! No C1 Kazuha, but that is completely alright since I got him last year in his first banner super early (missed the event to get the dodoco tales catalyst thou) and I have no Qiqi on either account! So I was very happy and now I have guaranteed Tighnari 🤗🌱 Thank you loads for this video! I got him and Kazuha in the same pull. Kazuha did not escape my primos this time, unlike he did in 1.6. Heizou looks fun, I love that Hoyoverse is experimenting more and more when it comes to combat style. Things like Klee's bombs were an early form of unique attack animation. Yae Miko and now Heizou both feel like an entirely different kind of character, which is nice to see.
unfortunately lost my klee 50/50 but ended up with c1 heizou to make up for it and i am not disappointed, definitely the most fun ive had with a character in some time

There are many ways to build Heizou that this showcase didn't properly showcase such as an EM build and a hyper carry build. Let me know if there are more builds you'd like to see!

It's nice to see a Melee-type elemental fighter unit which is a ton of fun! I've fun playing this with an Emerald Orb. It's like no swapping Thrillin tales minus 8% attack increase. Works on Element reactions. 😍
From pre-TC on WFP, they're all relatively equal on him, with less than even 1k DPS difference for each. ADC is slightly higher in pure ST, while EM is slightly higher in primary target.
building EM on heizou is like building EM on beidou or overload Xiangling. Just don't do it. People normally build EM on kazuha and sucrose because of their passives but heizou does not scale off EM for anything other than swirl dmg

I know its not F2P friendly but the BP weapon is literally tailored for him. Edit: best team I have come to for Heizou as well (C0) is yelan (if you have her) zhongli, heizou and benny. While you do not get the advantage of his EM boosting you do get a LOT of damage from just Heizou himself (I am also using the BP weapon R1)

Should you be running four piece vv if you’re not doing swirl reactions? And if you are, should you be running a mappa mare for EM instead of a widsith? Am I missing something, or would two piece vv two piece glad be better?
You just don’t give up VV unless you have someone else using VV. You get better personal damage with 2 pc VV 2 pc glad/shim but that means nothing when you could be shredding 40% res for multiple elements.
@@kevinclayton3798 The reason you go full EM on most Anemo units is two-fold. A unit like Venti can group enemies and rely on AoE swirl damage making them even better than crit builds against 2+ enemies, but also Sucrose and Kazuha share their EM which increases your teams damage so much that you don’t even care about maximizing their atk% or crit value, you just want them to give big buffs. Heizou’s grouping is so poor that I don’t think full EM is the best and he only shares a static 80 EM, regardless of his own EM. So you build crit instead allowing him to do ST and if you are mobbing you are better off using EM Sucrose.
Did my 110 pulls ive saved and got c4 heizou and my Kazuah ive wanted for over a yr. Pretty happy with my summons. Hope yall did good. I was stoked about Heizou c4 bc i watch yt spend so much to get 4 stars. I feel i lucked with that one.
As a close combat char, i just wished his attack pattern would vary dependingon the sequence of normal, charged, and elemental skill. Wouldve been more fun.

A New 4 Star that might somewhat actually be worth the hype⁉️🤔😱 Got him on my first 4 Star, and so far far, he's decently fun and refreshing to play. Glad to have another short Inazuman Boy I can overuse.
I have him c6 with rather mediocre artifacts (46% crit rate 76% crit dmg) and he still can hit for 40k with full stacks, most fun character I ever played
As much as I like his attacks, it’s a shame how weak they are. I was hoping he’d have personal damage roughly on par with Yanfei. For now it looks like his best team would be better if you just swapped him out for Sucrose. It would have been cool to see an actual 4 star anemo dps.
VV set doesn't make him do much damage but at the same time it amplifies other character's damage while also doing decent damage himself. A good trade off I would say
@@鐘葉 Yes but that’s just the result of being an Anemo character, and for that role Sucrose is just a strictly better option. I just wish they made the most fun part of his kit a bit stronger. Increasing his multipliers on his autos wouldn’t make him broken since he’d still do less overall damage than Sucrose, but it would give you a viable option for a pure Anemo dps, which I think would be fun.

I've fun playing this with an Emerald Orb. It's like no swapping Thrillin tales minus 8% attack increase. Works on Element reactions. 😍
By how fast he got the declention stacks and how much he swirls, I wonder if EM, anemo dmg & crit build is better.
From pre-TC on WFP, they're all relatively equal on him, with less than even 1k DPS difference for each.
ADC is slightly higher in pure ST, while EM is slightly higher in primary target.

building EM on heizou is like building EM on beidou or overload Xiangling. Just don't do it. People normally build EM on kazuha and sucrose because of their passives but heizou does not scale off EM for anything other than swirl dmg
Most TC has found that ADC is slightly better ST and 3EM for multitarget

I got a C6 Heizou and an accidental Kazuha so I was super lucky ^^
I love him!! He’s one of my favourite characters, and he’s never leaving my team! He can already do 100k+ Es with Bennett even with my crappy build ^^

@@feqol to sammmeeeee - I had another R5 sac frag so I jsut chucked it on him. Honestly, it’s not too game-changing, but the extra skill helps in a pinch.
it would be super fun but also EM isn't that useful, and Sacrifical items mostly really shine with long cooldowns (xingqiu, diona)

just tried him not really high damage ,. he is suited as a 4 star... But i would say his gameplay is really fun and satisfying !!

I bored seeing Inazuma 4star char all niche and under performance, Heizou is a great refreshing character
I mean he barely kills the flower before it wakes up, most 5 stars DPS destroy the flower in a few seconds at C0.
He's good as a swirl driver and that's about it, way weaker than other 5 star DPS, keeping the pattern alive of other 4 star DPS that are weaker than their counterparts (Razor

I know its not F2P friendly but the BP weapon is literally tailored for him.
Edit: best team I have come to for Heizou as well (C0) is yelan (if you have her) zhongli, heizou and benny. While you do not get the advantage of his EM boosting you do get a LOT of damage from just Heizou himself (I am also using the BP weapon R1)

I really like him, sadly only have him at c2 now but I'm hoping to c6 him in the future. He's really great, at lv20 with The Windsith and some mediocre VV artifacts he did a 8k attack. I'll definitely lv90 him when I get the chance
Should you be running four piece vv if you’re not doing swirl reactions? And if you are, should you be running a mappa mare for EM instead of a widsith? Am I missing something, or would two piece vv two piece glad be better?
You just don’t give up VV unless you have someone else using VV. You get better personal damage with 2 pc VV 2 pc glad/shim but that means nothing when you could be shredding 40% res for multiple elements.
4 vv seems better, you could use him with anyone that does damage off field

@@kevinclayton3798 The reason you go full EM on most Anemo units is two-fold. A unit like Venti can group enemies and rely on AoE swirl damage making them even better than crit builds against 2+ enemies, but also Sucrose and Kazuha share their EM which increases your teams damage so much that you don’t even care about maximizing their atk% or crit value, you just want them to give big buffs.
Heizou’s grouping is so poor that I don’t think full EM is the best and he only shares a static 80 EM, regardless of his own EM. So you build crit instead allowing him to do ST and if you are mobbing you are better off using EM Sucrose.

Did my 110 pulls ive saved and got c4 heizou and my Kazuah ive wanted for over a yr. Pretty happy with my summons. Hope yall did good. I was stoked about Heizou c4 bc i watch yt spend so much to get 4 stars. I feel i lucked with that one.

As a close combat char, i just wished his attack pattern would vary dependingon the sequence of normal, charged, and elemental skill. Wouldve been more fun.

I have him c6 with rather mediocre artifacts (46% crit rate 76% crit dmg) and he still can hit for 40k with full stacks, most fun character I ever played

As much as I like his attacks, it’s a shame how weak they are. I was hoping he’d have personal damage roughly on par with Yanfei. For now it looks like his best team would be better if you just swapped him out for Sucrose. It would have been cool to see an actual 4 star anemo dps.
Because of VV. Adding more to his normals when he can constantly swirl is just broken for a 4*
VV set doesn't make him do much damage but at the same time it amplifies other character's damage while also doing decent damage himself. A good trade off I would say
@@鐘葉 Yes but that’s just the result of being an Anemo character, and for that role Sucrose is just a strictly better option. I just wish they made the most fun part of his kit a bit stronger. Increasing his multipliers on his autos wouldn’t make him broken since he’d still do less overall damage than Sucrose, but it would give you a viable option for a pure Anemo dps, which I think would be fun.

I didnt have a dedicated set for him so I slapped my dps xiao build on him and my lvl 1 c1 heizou hit 39k on his skill. Definitely investing on him
