Woolie is the best at fighting games he's practiced a shit ton, but sucks when touching something he hasn't played (unless he picks a broken boss character). Liam is only good at anime games, but only when he picks the little girl character. Matt is still bad at fighting games.

I love the guys, and all they do but...damn man, this is probably my favorite game. Pause a moment, look up some moves, it's not like they're hard, every motion has three variants (A, B, C) depending on the button pressed, C usually causing a "super" if at 100% EXS or more. GRD is amazing, ticking off 15 seconds, whoever has more/was more aggressive gets pwr buff for next 15, can manually sacrifice EXS to boost it. And every character has strong gimmicks/uses, kinda need to know them to play effectively. I was glad when one of them seemed to be figuring out Yuzuhira's meter use (As she's a stance character, assume stance, activate A B or C, meter shows which gets used/locked out.) Carmine can take it to EVO, Woolie, he's a high risk, high reward, and spamming specials cuts his life every single use, so you kinda killed yourself hard there. Hilda can range game and juggle you with ease if you get her going right. And as one who mains Byakuya, thank you Pat for at least showing that he can be good, if you learn to use the web setting right, after Matt kinda saltsploded all ovah himself cause wust buthday evah! Oh, he has followups to near every move, often two, if that helps. Liam, Linne and Yuzu can do great things if you learn them, Linne has the amazing speed and practical parry abilities, Yuzu can teleport dash and hit from half screen to wall bounce. Ganbare, otaku-chan. Guys, take a few, learn how to actually play the game some, then hit it again. I can assure you you'll love how you keep learning something newer and deeper every time you play this deceptive game. And to anyone who wanted to get into fighters, this, all this. It's extremely streamlined, cuts all the BS and maintains a lot of depth that'll keep going deeper and deeper the more you play. Oh, and Best Friends, look into Infinite Worth and Infinite Worth EX if you want the hype. Keep up the great work. Matt, stop babbying and maybe Woolie will toss you a sympathy pie and it'll be aaall better.

Can't you guys spend like 15 minutes beforehand to understand the basic mechanics or something? The system is almost universal for all the characters I think you'll appreciate the game more if you're not mashing buttons and hoping things work

French Bread made a lot more sturff than that. Melty Blood is theirs, and they made two "Moe girl of the season" boxer-fighting hybrids, Glove on Fight and Gleam of Force. The music in all of them is REALLY great.
Eltnum IS just the Melty Blood MC. That’s what her story mode is about, actually. Additionally, I’m still made that they didn’t realize that Vatista is just Guile.
+Silverzero I'm very lucky to have one so close. They do alright too. Especially on weekends. They got roughly 80 pinball machines and like 20 stand up machines with all kinds of variety. But yeah Akatsuki Blitzkampf is like the most obscure thing there.
Scarred Steel I occasionally find small arcade-like areas in places like airports. Problem is, some of them aren't all that great. At a calgary airport I played through virtua fighter 3 before trying Crazy Taxi. Turns out the pedals on crazy taxi were broken and I wasted a dollar. Lucky me found a Dollar on the floor after.

If your going off of their game play I'm sorry, but that's really bad. Maybe I have a bias because I really enjoy both of those games. But if you are basing it off you not interacting with the game the story, characters etc. Then your blindly following people, and that isn't good. I have a thought about why bending doesn't affect living things as much as it should. It's because the body has a natural resistance to bending on some level that makes it extremely difficult to do. Just to comment on the Nicalis Yatagarasu thing, Matt was actually super right in that the Nicalis version specifically is basically unofficially cancelled. It was announced for the 3DS, did nothing for like 2 years, switched platform to Vita, did nothing for a year, added PS4 and Xbone ports, was supposed to come out summer of last year, and haven't heard a word about it since. On top of that, the Nicalis version is NOT the same as the Steam version some people have access to. That version is Attack on Cataclysm, the Nicalis version is the old version. They literally sat on the license for so long the sequel is going to come out before they can port the original game. It's like when the PC version of Blazblue Calamity Trigger came out while Continuum Shift was in arcades and was heading to console soon with no PC version of CS in sight, except that actually came out.

Eltnum is from Melty Blood, and Akatsuki is from Akatsuki Blitzkampf, should seriously give that one a peek. It's got an electric tank with a skull on the end of its turret.
Even with all my bias as a Type Moon fan, just from looking at it, this game shits all over Melty Blood. Holy shit those character designs/animations. I know nothing about this but it's awesome. I mean, I can't speak from a gameplay/mechanics perspective because I'm a complete scrub with fighting games, but it _looks_ pretty damn fluid at least. Also yeah, fuck heterochromia, one of laziest and most done-to-death visual tropes I know. The only good heterochromic character off the top of my head is Lelouch maybe, and even then, you can barely call that heterochromia. All the others I'm thinking of are just cookie-cutter 'mysterious' types that have a second eye colour slapped on their design at the last minute to make them stand out and to compensate for their bland-ass personalities.
My main character in my comic book has heterochromia. However that doesn't happen until a vicious wound in a first confrontation with the main antagonist halfway through the story. And even after that it's mostly covered by an eyepatch.

Yo! Thats Akatsuki from Akatsuki Blitzkampf! They got that at my local arcade. Never seen it outside of there but thats definitely the same character.
Damn, you have an arcade? All I got is a retro game strore with a SF2 machine on hardest, a simpsons machine, and a machine with 4 neo geo games.
+Silverzero I'm very lucky to have one so close. They do alright too. Especially on weekends. They got roughly 80 pinball machines and like 20 stand up machines with all kinds of variety. But yeah Akatsuki Blitzkampf is like the most obscure thing there.
Scarred Steel I occasionally find small arcade-like areas in places like airports. Problem is, some of them aren't all that great. At a calgary airport I played through virtua fighter 3 before trying Crazy Taxi. Turns out the pedals on crazy taxi were broken and I wasted a dollar. Lucky me found a Dollar on the floor after.
What's luckier is that Akatsuki Blitzkampf even exists at your arcade at all

I have a thought about why bending doesn't affect living things as much as it should. It's because the body has a natural resistance to bending on some level that makes it extremely difficult to do. Probably why blood bending is so hard (normally).

Just to comment on the Nicalis Yatagarasu thing, Matt was actually super right in that the Nicalis version specifically is basically unofficially cancelled. It was announced for the 3DS, did nothing for like 2 years, switched platform to Vita, did nothing for a year, added PS4 and Xbone ports, was supposed to come out summer of last year, and haven't heard a word about it since.
On top of that, the Nicalis version is NOT the same as the Steam version some people have access to. That version is Attack on Cataclysm, the Nicalis version is the old version. They literally sat on the license for so long the sequel is going to come out before they can port the original game. It's like when the PC version of Blazblue Calamity Trigger came out while Continuum Shift was in arcades and was heading to console soon with no PC version of CS in sight, except that actually came out.

Guys... Eltnam was totally the same character as in Melty Blood...
Little tidbit, Eltnum is the very same Sion from the Melty Blood/Tsukihime games.
She's the deadpool of Under Night, she breaks the 4th wall so many times and its unknown if she can be killed.
Her theme is also an arrange of Blood Drain from AACC.
And Akatsuki (Jew Puncher) is from Akatsuki Blitzkampf.
Same character, different outfit and theme, slightly different moveset.
She's a member of Eltnum alchemist that just *happens* to look like sion.... and carry a barrel replica.

It is Sion because in her "astral finish" she uses Hermes which only her future form Dust of Osiris can control. Which means Eltnum maybe the strongest in the game lore wise it's just she isn't taking it seriously.
That character with the grey hair is particularly handsome.

I'm here to get acquainted with the one franchise featured in BBTAG that I'm completely unfamiliar with.
Why do people honestly like *honestly* want them to play naruto shippuden? They played it on machinima and it was fine. That's it. It basically boiled down to "You'll like it if you like naruto". Why does everyone ignore it and want them to rehash what they already did? It actually kinda pisses me off, that episode was hilarious. Its just going to be the EXACT same thing. I did the same thing with looking up a Super Moves video...and God damn, I wish these guys had figured out how to do them, because some of them are ridiculously hype, and I would have loved to see their reactions.
To my knowledge there isn't an instant kill, but there are moves that might as well be astral finishes.

Eltnum is from Melty Blood, and Akatsuki is from Akatsuki Blitzkampf, should seriously give that one a peek. It's got an electric tank with a skull on the end of its turret.
Even with all my bias as a Type Moon fan, just from looking at it, this game shits all over Melty Blood. Holy shit those character designs/animations. I know nothing about this but it's awesome. I mean, I can't speak from a gameplay/mechanics perspective because I'm a complete scrub with fighting games, but it _looks_ pretty damn fluid at least.
Also yeah, fuck heterochromia, one of laziest and most done-to-death visual tropes I know. The only good heterochromic character off the top of my head is Lelouch maybe, and even then, you can barely call that heterochromia. All the others I'm thinking of are just cookie-cutter 'mysterious' types that have a second eye colour slapped on their design at the last minute to make them stand out and to compensate for their bland-ass personalities.

My main character in my comic book has heterochromia. However that doesn't happen until a vicious wound in a first confrontation with the main antagonist halfway through the story. And even after that it's mostly covered by an eyepatch.
