I wonder we will reach a point Traveler just stops moving forward and just... be vulnerable for once. Cry about the fact that we were unintentionally been killing former humans. That their sibling that they were looking for, just walked away without even answering or looking at us.
They might not even be humans... but sometimes. You just get tired, saving three nations... possibly all of Teyvat.
I'm surprised that the Traveler hasn't even fallen apart from all the things they went through.

I just... as a traveler main. Sometimes... I just want them to stop being a 'Hero' for a moment and just be 'Lumine' or 'Aether' just a small life among many others.
THEY NEED TO CRY ONCE A WHILE YOU KNOW... it would get so tried trying so hard all of the time.
Venti, Zhongli, Qiqi, Kazuha, Xiao... pretty much everyone. They need to let it out, even they're the archons...
I am scared to imagine what would happen if traveler snapped. Imagine if some villain is insulting traveler about their sibling like "You keep trying to find her/him even after he/she went away? You are pathetic" or "Maybe she/he doesn't even care about you HAHAHA" And then the sibling would snap and use their power, there would be a big explosion,stuff like that. In the end they could be looking at the enemy with cold eyes and saying something like "Don't you dare speak about him/her like that you scum" and finally killing the enemy.

The funny thing is we see the traveler slolwy lose their desire to help.
In inazuma they are exasperated when asked for "favors" and even REJECT the request to stop the shogunate from Ayaka when she 1st asks us.
The character is slowly breaking down and i have a feeling we will see more of their frustration in the coming arcs.
I think it would be interesting to dive into what their life b4 teyvat was like. We dont know if they are of a species, if they have parents, or where they originally came from.
It reminds me a lil of superheroes. They spend their days sacrificing themselves for others only to get so lil in return, however, thats on 1st glace. Looking deeper, both superheroes and the traveler change the world. Building connections, repairing damaged ones, and being symbols of hope. While they cant see the benefit rn, each life they touch changes for the better, and that good will come back to them at the time they need it most.
I remember in The amazing Spider-Man 1, Pete saves a kid, and realizes what it means to be a hero. Days later, hes injured and cant swing to Oscorp on his own, but the Kids dad is a crane worker and organizes others to make a path for spidey to swing through. It was beautiful🤧
Id imagine the end of the game going like this: Traveler is getting the brakes beat off them, and cant win, but everyone they have helped comes to them, sharing their power, and giving the traveler the strength to get the Dub💪🏾
This definitely works when Aether instead is leading the Abyss Order, but is a lot more emotional than Lumine was. Aether’s design definitely screams fallen hero and remind me of Annakin Skywalker sometimes.

As someone who chosen Lumine as traveler, Aether gave me the whole “it’s for greater good” vibes from him when he is the Abyss prince during my play through and I can sense there was a genuine pain and anger when he encountered Dain and Lumine, he also seemed that he wants to be with her but can’t because of destiny which makes him even more depressing character. Of course I am not shitting on Lumine as abyss princess and she does seem more emotionless and cold hearted but I just like the sympathetic vibes Aether gives as abyss prince tbh, besides I prefer her as Traveler since I literally play as her and she does give me a protagonist vibes tbh.

I think aether is a good hero
Aether’s voice actor gives so much more emotion than Lumine as the villain (and basically everything), but I also prefer Aether as the main character
I wonder why the sibling cares so much about Teyvat, it hurt so much to see them just show up and leave, like you don't even matter, like whatever they're doing is more important, even though this world is just one of the many we were supposed to be passing through in our journey, even though we've been separated for so long and trying to reunite. Maybe witnessing the cataclysm 500 years ago has them wanting revenge against the gods and the unknown god, or perhaps something even greater that is yet to be revealed.
It's because they don't have a choice. What can they do? They're in an unknown world and to get answers they have to help them(people of Teyvat)first. Plus the traveller is actually kind. I swear to God I ranted so much after we became a wanted person in inazuma. I wanted to punch everyone's faces(some are exceptions).
@@sullyliel7409 When I was talking abou caring for Teyvat I was referring to the sibling, leader of the Abyss Order, not the Traveler. I know the Traveler is generally a pretty chill, very kind person, I wonder at the traveler's sibling's interest in Teyvat's affairs.

The abyss twin found out about "the truth of this world" and now became the leader of the abyss. So yeah, there is something fishy in Teyvat and I'm excited for MHY to update by then

I've watched a theory that the abyss sibling woke up hundreds, or maybe thousands of years ago before our mc woke up. And while waiting for us, they decided to create a 'home' aka Khaenri'ah. Khaenri'ah is so advanced technologically because of the fact that they travelled so many worlds and learned so many stuff, and that made the Celestial Gods alarmed cause they knew it will and can topple them.
When it was destroyed, the abyss twin rushed the mc for the two of them to escape Teyvat, only to be stopped by the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles (the intro), that's why she said "the arrogation of mankind ends now". Sealing you to sleep, as well as the destruction of the home they create for the mc just piled up and led to them snapping, creating the Abyss Order.

This is why I choose to believe they don't Die die when we defeat them, their soul just goes back to the Abyss, and then they just return to their assigned location after a while, which is how there's always the same types and amount of enemies at a given location

the man has saved 3 nations already fought 2 dragons, 2 Harbingers, and 2 gods and all he wanted was to be reunited with his sister only to be met with disappointment without having any information about her then be suddenly hit with the worst news that her sister is leading the very group he's been fighting ever since he came in mondstadt trying to find info about her whereabouts give the man a break

The thing is, this is such a mishap on the side of mihoyo, because this whole thing, where aether is killing people he most likely once knew, is so underused in the game, it can lead to so much conflict, maybe mistakes on the travelers part when it comes to accidentally revealing their true nature to their friends, it can go so hard, if the traveler actually showed remorse in the quests

After all he's been through, I feel ashamed. Not because he is not appreciated enough, and sometimes suffers from financial hardship. But at least his only wish is that he doesn't find a way to go. It is impossible to go through all this in three areas and find no evidence. If he stops for a moment and asks himself, does what he's doing make sense, did that help him find his sister? Will he reach a stage and stop someday?

At this point, I view them like the Demons in Demon Slayer. They may be formerly human, most of them have lost control on their lives, and they dont remember who they were. So, at this point, killing them is the only way to release them and give them a chance to reborn once again.

After that quest I was feeling the same thing beside confused on why did we leave the upside down statue alone. Like those are once normal living breathing people, there must be a reason why they did this. I just want answers. I can't trust any people after that really. I'm so invested in the lore.
Good thing is most of the enemies in Inazuma that I encountered are treasure hoarders. Inazuma people are shady too so... yeah, can't really trust anyone anymore.

I guess it would reasonable for aether and lumine to still somehow be emotional/ have emotions since they were kind of sealed and were sorta limited, physically which leads to the brain, making it possible for them to feel genuine emotion even after all those eras of watching stars die out literally since stars were born.

Its kinda true tho, hoyoverse makes the main storyline super family friendly, nearly zero deaths, everyone is happy and no blood or whatsoever meanwhile the avarage day gameplay is literally us committing genocides on ex humans or actual humans. Thank god they just disappear into the air when they die, imagine they actually spilled blood. Shit, aether would have looked like a maniac or a villain with human blood all over him after killing who knows how many fatui and samurais
