it didn't really make the vickers light any worse that it should be, in fact the changes are pretty nice, gave it a breath of fresh air and new ways to play.
The Vick L still very workable, of the few games I played in it after the update, it did well, it did well, alpha nerfs will always hurt but didn't kill the Vick
Feels like anything with 260 and less pen. is quite struggling to engage frontally much heavies now in this updates, like it bounces alot sometimes even when thinking we hit the weakspot just fine. But with good effect of improving mobility handling and tactics cause I now quickly aim to rush enemy sides or rear if frontal assault is hard.
Its clearly a nerf, it was like a sheridan but not like it, like somewhere in the middle. But with the alpha lowered it changes the gameplay to make you hide since your hige as a light

Vikers light is the most insane and broken tank in game... I did hit them many times and the shell bounced off even from no enlighted areas... Well, that's the mark of that pos game... But it happens more often with the vikers... Besides it shoot acurately and with a faster reload time than whatever u were using... Fast. Acuerate. Impossible to pen with no reason... I HATE to fight those fkers...
Id love to see wg add some more diversity for the skilled players. Imagine a tank like the fv215b 183... except for instead of high alpha. It has like 240 alpha but like 5000dpm maybe even 6000. Every stat other than dpm is horrible
I wish they added more situational tanks with extreme strengths and extreme weaknesses like you said. Also maybe a tank like the leopard, with less dpm but basically pinpoint accuracy, like playing with reticle calibration on at all times.
at the day of the update i play it in the morning and feel so fun and happy until the update ruin the tank on afternoon, i instantly delete these game on the evening.
I don't really see the point why would I play this instead of an Obj. 140. Yeah, it has light camo and HESH, but that's not enough in my opinion. 140 is way more enjoyable.
To 99% of players vickers will be trash. Wargaming removed the only thing that was enjoyable about this tank which was the 440 hesh alpha. Even a cs63 has tungsten and incredible reverse speed going for it but what does this tank has now? To add insult to injury the Vickers and leo1 has the same spotting range. Add to that the terrible tier9. Do not grind this tank on any circumstances whatsoever. If you have it in your garage you can play fun mode with it and wait for a buff before playing in pubs again. If you want a light tank go grab a batchat or t100lt or heck a wz132... basically any another light tank. You will thank me later.
