There is still gonna be stocks our economy runs on them. There are still gonna be treasury bonds. Our economy runs on them. Bitcoin is one of many assets. People are still gonna diversify
Stocks, yes. They will just be valued in btc. T bills - no. T bills are a derivative of fiat. Fiat is dying and by extension fiat derivatives will as well. Real estate will still be around, valued in BTC I'm one of those who thinks gold will still have value, too.

I bought 2 bitcoin at $40,000 wanting to exit with at least $200,000 but at the moment i am worried that bitcoin won't get to $100k in this bull run, as post halving has not seen bitcoin break its ATH. I need advice, should i cash out now and put my money in safe investments or still hang-on?

Obviously isn't a real peg since they can't fully control interest rates, spending, fractional reserve lending, etc. More people are waking up to just how false that narrative of consumer-goods-basket lie is. That's why people are hunting for an alternative reserve currency (gold, bitcoin, BRICS)

BTC will do all these things, however one thing bitcoiners don't like to talk about is who actually created bitcoin, no matter what they say, there is still a chance BTC could get completely rekt. BTC is meant to be a trustless system, but you trust the origin story of bitcoin, that is FACT.

I don't believe everything will be priced in BTC. I just sent $14 worth of BTC to my ledger wallet and it cost me $6 in BTC fees. There's is no way people are going to adopt BTC with these crazy fees.
That's the point. If a commodity has a utility to society, the worst thing that could be done is to refine it, purify it, and place it in a vault. And then pay an army to secure it or move it. Bitcoin is the most perfect money/storage of wealth ever created in the history of humanity. It checks more of the boxes of what money should be than even gold. Insanity would be being all in on fiat.

I am 79 and bought bitcoin in 2017 it has gone up more than 900%, I still buy every month and what I bought in Jan 2024 is up from 43K to 63K
