They have stated very clearly that they used Sidi Mansour in the big hit in Norway. They were getting inspiration from their own cultures for these songs.
You should absolutely check out the youtube channel for Karpe, the live performances they had in Oslo. Pretty amazing stuff, they sold out 10 times with 10.000 people each concert.

The Quick Style and also known as the Quick Crew, is a Norwegian hip-hop/urban dance group founded by two Norwegian-Pakistani twins, Suleman and Bilal Malik, and their Norwegian-Thai childhood friend Nasir Sirikhan.

Enjoyed how much you enjoyed this. If you wanna check Karpe out, you should start with their live performances for their Omar Sheriff concert.Reason being, it's embedded with subtitles, so it'll be easier to understand how Karpe speaks for the diaspora in Norway.

You're a treasure, as well, kid. You need to sing a song in Arabic and Urdu, and just send it to Xulfi. I'm not kidding. You never know what happens. Btw, in the last song, Mehmaan, towards the end of the song, Xulfi harmonizes in the background and it's just beautiful. Keep an eye out for that. 43:31
