Thanks to an embedded SIM card the car will have available the Connect app that brings online services directly into the vehicle, allowing customers to access downloadable apps, online radio and an expanding ecosystem of functionality with remote data and control of their vehicle.
And when users are away from their vehicle, they can access vehicle information including driving data, parking information, vehicle status and set up speed alerts using the smartphone app. And for the high-performance plug-in hybrid version drivers can manage the charging process and control the air conditioning remotely.The 12” infotainment system reduces the number of hard buttons and integrates voice and gesture control. The system combines the Full Link system compatible with both Apple CarPlay (wireless) and Android Auto. Passengers can also plug their phone into the vehicle by the USB connection or using Bluetooth to access their eco-system of apps.
Because technology is also at the forefront inside the vehicle thanks to the integration of the digital cockpit that sets all the necessary driving information right in front of the driver, who will also be delighted by the new steering wheel that integrates the engine start button and the CUPRA mode selector.

you say the reaction time is good.. I can see that when you touch the map, there is a delay. And I have heard that some complain about it being slow, at times.
Yes sometimes it slow down... but usually it should work just fine
3:03 when you use this view, can you also see the GPS map at the same time on the right side like on Audi or Mercedes?

If you turn off things like start stop and exit door alert warning will it save for the next time you get in the car or do you have to turn it off each time if you don’t want to use them?

Im getting the 245 tsi next month...in an other review i heard the infotainment touchscreen makes an annoying clicking noise every time you touch it. I hope it can be muted...Am i correct? Because i cant hear it when you use it. Thx

Am thinking of getting this car next month but all that looks very complicated. I guess I won't use a lot of the functions but still reckon for an older driver like me it will take some getting used to.

Seems that this touchscreen - unfortunately as all the touchscreens in modern automobiles - is a complete crap when it comes to responsivness and fluency COMPARED to modern tablets / phones. I really don't get why the car manufactureres put EVERY funcionality in touch-controlled-infotainment and don't focus on the quality of this screen.
What is more - even if the screen was of smartphone-quality - the control during driving is something completely different then playing with it with engine off... We need physical buttons in order to be able to find an use it while looking AT THE ROAD.
I am waiting for this touch-trend to end.
PS Why didn't you mention the buttons below the screen at all? They seem pretty crucial when it comes to AC-control.

Having had my 310 version for 3 months now I love it but the infotainment system is so full of bugs they should all be recalled for a new reliable version, absolute shambles VW.

About as informative as a kick in the head! I tuned in for an explanation of how to utilize the system! All this guy told me was what I can read on the screen in front of me! Pathetic
