      That's fabulous. Burkina Faso is no doubt a beautiful country, with some of the most friendliest and welcoming people, and offers a lot of potential, especially for people who think outside the box. However, relocating to a new country you aren't familiar with isn't easygoing, so I will advise you to visit or take a couple of visits to get a first-hand experience to decide that yes, that's truly my future home. 🇧🇫❤️🌍

    After a very stressful mornings work, that was rather relaxing to watch. I was surprised to see palm trees considering that the country is not coastal.

      The coconuts were introduced species. However, considering that the country has a lot of groundwater, once the coconut tree gains good care and attention during its initial stage and it establishes its roots, it can survive in such an environment.

    Fourteen former French colonies in Africa pay a “colonial tax” amounting to about $500 billion yearly
    These countries are Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Benin, Guinea, Côte d'Ivoire Togo, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon.
    This process allows France to appropriate about 85% of the former colonies' annual income.

    A difficult question Kwame, if they are available, roughly how much would a 3 bed house be to purchase in the capital?

    • @kwamethewanderer
      @kwamethewanderer  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      This isn't an easy question to answer. The value of the house will depend on a lot of factors. These may include the location; the age and condition of the property; who is selling , being a private seller, or an agent, etc. Send through an email to kwamethewanderer@gmail.com, and I will send you links to the 2 main websites I used during my house hunting in Burkina Faso.

      No worries. I will shoot another video when I get the opportunity to re-visit during their wet season so that we can get the perspective of Ouaga 2000 with more vegetation.
      The idea of "WHERE THE 1% LIVES" sounds good and realistic, so I have edited the title of the video. Thanks for enjoying my vlog and keep supporting the channel.

      Ouaga 2000 is one of the districts with Ouagadougou, the capital city of Burkina Faso. Though it's the wealthiest residential area, it's just a snippet of what are to be seen in the Burkinabé capital.
