Adam and eve were not thrown out of the garden as punishment but as a means of protecting them from themselves. if they had stayed they risked condemning themselves irreversibly for all eternity to hell if they were to eat of the tree of life while LOCKED in a state of guilt and shame. Until the end comes and that is when He returns.
One thing you and the rest of the western Christians have to understand is that the Biblical Sabbath rest is about the physical day of rest. You can have a read at Exodus 20:8 and Deuteronomy 5:15 where God says "Don't work or make anyone else work". Whereas the rest spoken in the New Covenant is about the spiritual rest. Always study the words of the Lord, now He says in Matthew 11.28
“Come unto Me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." And He continues in verse 29, Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." What does it say right at the end of the verse. Souls. Not your bodies, not your pockets but souls. God has gifted us a physical day of rest at the time of creation. It's not Jewish or Christian, the whole day is a gift from God for us to rest from our worldly affairs. Further to point that He Himself being the Lord of the Sabbath (Matthew 12:1-8, Mark 2:23-28 and Luke 6:1-5) also kept the physical Sabbath on Saturdays, which is more of a reason to follow His footsteps. Mind you, if you you're not a believer in the Gospels, sabbath keeping will do nothing for your soul. You have Him as the best example and not your mom and dad and not your pastor..So as He commanded in Matthew 11:29 Take His yoke upon you and learn from Him, for He is gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.. Additionally, after the resurrection, He appeared to believers for 40 days, enough time to correct His followers who were certainly still keeping the Sabbath! Adam and eve were not thrown out of the garden as punishment but as a means of protecting them from themselves. if they had stayed they risked condemning themselves irreversibly for all eternity to hell if they were to eat of the tree of life while LOCKED in a state of guilt and shame.
God had to kick them out to stop that from happening and to start the rescue mission to save all humanity and his children so they could return to their proper place to fulfill their proper role and function as true, pure and proper rulers and guardians over the earth.
