It’s wild seeing how the different reactions are from people who grew up going to Disneyland and people who don’t. Even to this day my family (young and old) are all excited when we get to do a Disneyland trip. Even slow rides like Small World is considered nostalgic and exciting to us. 😂 Unfortunate that Emily didn’t enjoy it as much but, to each their own. I hope your mom and grandma had a blast!
exactly what i was thinking! i grew up going to disney and i get so so excited every time we go. even my parents who didn’t go growing up love it so much (maybe more than me hahahah)

here are some fun rides at Disney that are pretty cool/ thrilling, TRON at magic kingdom, Rockin’ rollercoaster at Hollywood studios, Hollywood Tower hotel at Hollywood studios, space mountain at magic kingdom, expedition Everest at animal kingdom, rise of the resistance at Hollywood studios galaxy’s edge, slinky dog dash at Hollywood studios Toy Story land, Navi river at animal kingdom, Pandora flight of passage at animal kingdom, star tours at Hollywood studios galaxy’s edge. I haven’t been to EPCOT before so that’s why there’s none of the EPCOT rides there :)

Mad props to 할머니 for going on a roller coaster at her age! Disney is all about waiting in lines. I always thought that it would be so much better if they just had a conveyor belt with chairs on it at least so you could sit while waiting to get to the ride. I think Emily is at that age where Disney is not going to be her thing.
