Hi Anna! I saw you at Acorns and Threads on Tuesday, I was with my mother and my 6 year old daughter. I am new to cross-stitch, and it was my 1st time visiting the shop. One of the girls at the desk mentioned your floostube, so here I am checking it out and saying hello. Maybe we will cross paths again someday 😁

William Kent Krueger is possibly my new favorite author, I highly recommend you dive into his other novels An Ordinary Grace and This Tender Land and if you enjoy mysteries his Cork O'Connor novels are first rate. You make me homesick for Oregon, the route you take through the river and woods to get to Acorns and Threads I am so familiar with and I felt I was riding along with you. 🌲

Love your attitude and discipline with your stitching! I need to do more of that. I love that I can picture you stitching away at Acorns and Thread class room - just wish I was there too!! I love SW Portland. My grandparents lived in that area when I was young so I could picture you and Janine driving to and fro to get your car repaired. One day soon I will join you in a Start Along. Love the idea of starting an Olympics piece. I know I have a couple charts from French Designers - that should count ◡̈. Take care and enjoy the rain. That’s what makes Western Oregon so beautiful!

Thank you. for sharing how you use your Book of Days. I was using it similar, but I like yours better. It has kept me on track with the Tree's and the sparkly thread. It keeps in front of me how much I have stitched and on what. I am also stitching on the MFE 2024 sal & 2019 Santa from. prairie schooler. take care till we see you next time

At first I wanted to offer you my sympathy for you having to wait for your car - but it sounds as though you made the best out of it!! So glad you were rescused !Lol - sorta reminds me of times when I was at laundramat and put in a few more quarters so I could stitch a little longer - I loved your grandson story they grow up so fast - I cherish having my 30 year old grandson come once a week and have lunch with me - enjoy your stitching

I really enjoy your you tubes. Yes we know you are so shy!! LOL I am working on the monthly mini from Primrose Cottage too. I thought about using all the same fabric but then changed my mind. They are for each month so I thought why should they all be the same fabric. Oh I might make a couple with the same but not all of them. I have July stitched. I couldn't resist it. I'm working on April now. When I first started stitching it I wasn't sure that I liked the color choice. I was about to change colors but figured I'd give it a chance and the more I stitch it the better I like it.

What a nice day you had getting your car serviced, sure beats waiting at the dealership! It makes me sad how quickly our grandchildren gro up, in the blink of an eye. Acorn Gatherings is a great chart, it’s beautiful. I have never done a Mill Hill kit either, I can’t seem to decide on a kit, so many options! Happy Stitching! 💐
Always enjoy your progress on all the things. I’m enjoying the view of the ocean as I stitch this morning on “Old Nantucket “. Which will Turn into “Florence”. Where I graduated from high school. But love the sentiment of the girl or lady waiting for loved one to come home from fishing. Getting to enjoy my two sons and grandkids, all older. Getting to go do glass blowing tomorrow. A new experience. Have a great weekend!
As always, enjoyed the visit today. You have been very busy. We had a beautiful day here in Mesa….high 70’s and blue sky. It was perfect to sit on the patio and stitch. Have to enjoy it before it gets hot. I am starting the monthly minis from Primrose Cottage, too. Looking forward to our next visit.

You’ve got quite a lot of stuff going on there gal! I spoke with the shop, an order went array. Fortunately I took a screen shot of it and Clarice and Sarah are sorting it out. We’ve had two days of sun, rain and wind but our blossoms are hanging on in the courtyard. I hope you and your family have a lovely Happy Easter weekend!

I LOVED hearing about your day at Acorns and Threads and sooo wish I could have been there to stitch with you! Having been there and gotten a wonderful hug from you, it was almost like re-living that fun day!! I miss being there and seeing my grown children so much! We will be making our trek from North Carolina to Portland again this year in October and hopefully our paths might cross again. I’m going to try and plan arriving when there’s a class and I can shop! I love every stitching and quilting utube you make!! You absolutely bring many smiles to my life! 🎶🥰 Susie

Hello to u my stitchy friend. Yes we got hit hard with a blizzard here in Maine. We got 18 inched !!! I live by myself so i had to shovel and now my shoulder hurts an i cant stitch as long cuz of the pain. Ill take a break for a bit and then i should b fine. I just love hearing all ur stories and adventures. I wish i could b as organized as u r with ur stitching. Oh i so want to get that magnetic frame. They have them in Etsy, all different colors. I have gone down the Mill Hill rabbit hole. I work on one large project and one Mill Hill. I find them good pallette cleansers, but do yourself a favor and get their needle threader.

I have a book title for you...The Five Wish of Mr Murray McBride. The author is Joe Sipple. It was so good so heart warming and sad and happy and funny. I think you will love it. Third contender for the Olympics: there is a JBW A Round France pattern which has an Eiffel Tower, Fleur de Lise, Arc d’triumph etc. Not that any of us need more patterns.
