    Uncle Sergei once again pulls off an amazing backing up job coming out of the shipper's loading area. Nice work.

    With all the work your doing to your new trailer I would seriously consider changing out your plastic red blue trailer hook up lines on your tractor before winter. Install rubber brake hose. those things are brake downs waiting to happen. I'm sure you know this already like the rest of us.

      and make sure to zip tie the lines together for a more clean look or brade the line and zip tie the end

    The boiler that you are hauling is needed for a steam turbine powered generator.

      Sergei really showed off his sill and experience here. I've seen another YT trucker back into a way bigger spot (yesterday or so?) with a way smaller trailer and that was a disaster.

    • @SuperFIFTHGEAR
      @SuperFIFTHGEAR 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A lot of the time they say the bigger spots are harder, because with a smaller spot you have to look where obstacles are, where as a bigger spot there's nothing for you to watch. Which TH-camr are you talking about?

    Do you have to worry about grounding the trailer as its so low. Water is probably cheaper than diesel to run generator Enjoyed video.

    Steam generation is considered not only for electricity yet can also supply heat for refineries or other sensitive areas where electrical heat might be dangerous.

    Segeii the first thing I noticed was the 3'inch clearance of the trailer the last thing you need is to bottom out on a set of rail road tracks that would be a disaster and embarrassing but you can clearly see your exhalent driving skills and oversize load experience in this video it should be used as a training film for rookie drivers.

  • @348frank348
    @348frank348 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Sergei, i have a question. maybe you've addressed this in other videos, but how often do you worry about the lowboy scraping or getting stuck in uneven ground?
    like rail road X-ings are an absolute place to be careful but what about truck stops with crazy uneven parking lots?
    there's a pilot in Jarrell TX that looks absolutely HORRIBLE for lowboy trailers but I've seen a few parked there still.
    how do you deal with this? thanks in advance ☺

    • @348frank348
      @348frank348 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      you increase the ride height of the trailer but is that enough to be able to drive onto any parking lot??
      i apologize if this question has an obvious answer. thanks a bunch for reading this far

    Now that you've had the new trailer, how does PTO system compare with the Honda method?
    Nice back-up job by the way. That loaner trailer looks good behind the Mac

      That loaner trailer you see is what the steam generator is mounted to and is part of the steam package, as he stated in the video its all one unit.

    I wish half the drivers out there were as professional as Sergei is. Truck driving is a profession, not a trade and it should be treated as such. People need to take their driving responsibility more seriously on the road. Driving heavy/oversize is not for everyone. It takes patience and situational awareness.
    It is nice to see a fellow professional out on the road. 25 years experience here. All of it heavy. Some of it oversize. Keep up the good work. You almost have me thinking of losing my mind and buying my own truck doing this. Almost. :)

    The natural gas company in Phoenix, AZ has similar units at the end of each pipeline. When air conditioning is in high demand, and the price of electricity is up, they make electricity, and burn out the stale gas from their pipelines. Normally, they would have to pump it into a tanker, and take back to the refinery, which obviously cost a lot more.

      Maybe the third axel on the trailer that he raises every time he turns a corner to save tire scrub ( wear) and then lowers it when he gets straightened out.

    • @suorsajouni
      @suorsajouni 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You are right, except it's the truck's pusher axle. Saves tires and reduces turning radius.

    How can I scribe to you your channel , I have the bell and clicked on top , I really like your channel . I used to drive , know I will have to halfway start over , when I got my first truck was in 1976 . It was a1974 Cabover White Fright-liner , 3 axle with Eaton trans, 13 ,with 4:11 gears ,and 11. 24.5 tires . It was nice truck ,full sleeper , it had a small cam 350 Cummings, turned up a little , it would put 400 hp to ground , they where just coming out with air bags , I wish I would have had them . An other thing was ,I think they had put electronic on brakes about 3 or 4 years earlier, glad I did not . There was so much problems with them , the DOT. said cut them out . I could tell you horror stories about them . My truck had 4 colors ,mostly Purple, Black ,Gold and tiny bit of red , I least to Washington Oregon Lumber Freighter out of Vancouver , Washington , but had a office in Oregon. We one of the few that BC , plates, by the way,on the side it W,O,L,F . We ran Oregon plates because it was & I had bought a 45 ft dry van , won't go in to that , would Canada let a 68 with a CDL drive up there ? THANKS AGAIN , love your channel.
