You may find it hard to believe but BTS were not overly popular at the start, and I won't go into how they get treated by Korean media even today. Eric Nam is a solo vocalist. He was born in America of Korean descent and returned to Korea to get into show biz. He also hosts talk shows and has interviewed BTS many times... he has been a supporter of BTS since the beginning and has become friends with them. He was there during the time BTS were treated badly by show hosts, but he has always been really nice. He is a good guy.
I'm so glad that you enjoy their earlier music! They put their 100% since the start, trying to make music they would always be proud of. And their music is still good today 😌 Also, I love seeing this series because it shows a lot of people that SUGA was never the cold person they painted him to be. He was funny, caring and loving from the beginning 💜 And V was part of the group from the start - he didn't join later. But they promoted the group as a 6-members group while keeping V a secret
There are deleted scenes for chapter 1 & 2 and starting from chapter 3 there is bonus content. It would be great if you could react to those as well. The deleted scenes are parts that were cut for time or didn't fit the narrative of the chapter but are still relevant during that time. The bonus content really helps to show off their crackhead energy and brings good laughs (which you will really need in later episodes because the main episode will make you want to cry).
Jimin and V attended the same performing arts school when they joined. A performing arts school will give them time off when needed for their schedules. So when Jimin talks about not getting much of a reaction after debut that's partly because all the other students are also training to become performers so it wasn't that big of a deal to them.
15:14 you will love their concerts then and i can't imagine what the energy exchange is going to be like when they tour after they're all finished with military
Trust me, we spend our days saying how much we enjoy BTS too..no worries there! It would be great if you let the video play right to the end because there are usually some banger b-sides or covers there and lots of reactors cut it off when they see scenes from the next episode coming up (I know you didn't do that). Also deleted and bonus scenes are just as good as the main chapters and sometimes hold the funniest stuff. If you can, please react to those too. I am enjoying your reactions. June 13, 2013, is BTS's debut date. This is their debut stage you watched in this video. Also, BTS already knew that V was in the group, the only people that didn't know about V being part of the group was ARMY's. They just kept it from the fans.
one slightly criticism i have is when you pause go back so you catch everything being said cause you may forget what was happening during you maing your comment about something. for example at around 4:30 mark they were saying anerican media and English media in general over exaggeration how bad kpop is as well as pretend to have better systems in their own countries when korea got these ways from america and america still uses A LOT of these practices. but besides that not every korean artist is treated this way so they shouldn't generalized based on a few clips. its specifically some labels in kpop that do those things that you saw in chapter 1. in chapter 4 they will say every MAJOR company follows these rules and that is NOT true. again generalized information is misinformation. kpop has lots of problems but there are artists labeled as kpop by the west like bts who are not being effected by those issues. for example someone mentioned the rose theyre a rock band not kpop but they USED to be under a kpop label and they were treated badly but they got out together and made their own label. so did american media generalized apply to them partly yes but american media never clarify oh this group left so and so label so now it is okay to support them as youre not putting money in bad people's pockets it only goes to the band. american media doesnt say how many GOOD changes korea and kpop has had since early 2000s or 2010s. conditions are so much better due to bts success and the spotlight being on korea music the industry HAD to change if they wanted to keep expanding into the west and global music markets. because people like you and me would stay away if we knew artists were being mistreated. so a lot of things do not happen anymore or arent frequently happening and are only happening at certain labels. american media doesnt reports on these updates tho they continue t paint everything as bad. we armys know first hand kpop is not perfect but besides the big labels yg and sm not much bad stuff happens often. even the big label jyp isnt as bad as they used to be. progress is better than nothing. heavily suggested reacting to boracity magazine videos and bbygangmags videos to understand better on different topics. not everything is black and white in korea and kpop and korean music some things are grey and English media makes no distinctions. basically its good to know what labels are bad to not support them but dont write off everyone right away.

Agree.... The Rose, Mamamoo, DPR Ian all write their own music and are not your typical Idols. Most ARMY have a lot of respect for these artists and most of us aren't into other KPop.
