He is too perfectly handsome to be Zhang Qi Ling 😄😄 I've come to like him ever since I saw him in Fox in the Screen 2 years ago. Even he had crooked teeth at that time, he was still so damn good looking. I love how soft his look and eyes are. He is one of the most handsome chinese actors in my opinion.

I could watch this over and over again..
Took me a few seconds to realize that he is the actor in dr cutie and not yang yang. The good thing is he added some of his personality into the character it's not the same xiao ge yang yang was more smooth with a hint of smile but this boy here made it his own in away
When his face partially hidden in the hood, and posed a quiet expression, he was just like Qiling potrayed by Yang Yang. Some pieces that brought a liveful performance of this character were, we could see his eyes now ( Yang yang 's style had his front hair covering his eyes), and in this Reunion, Zhang Qiling had affection. Xiao Ge could smile. That was really a warming touch.
Really, when he was smiling, then I could differ that he was not Yang Yang.
@@luluhk2662 i could tell by the smile and i'm very sad that he and paron chen got to participate only in the first part of the show cause i love the character of mr glasses that i saw in sand sea. By the way do you know whats wrong with the zhang family i mean Zhang qiling and Zhang Rishan from sand sea why r they immortals?
@@noonanana3149 It was because Zhang family had different genes, which made them slow in aging (looks immortal to average human beings) and proficient in martial arts and agility. The Zhang story was told in the books and also the Lost Tomb 2.
You know if you recalled in The Lost Tomb 3 Session 1, Wu Xie was pretty happy when he had a fan (Bai Haotian) who asked a signature on her back shirt. Wu Xie mumbled to Zhang Qiling ...saying that he had a fan, idolized by some people...not just Qiling, the handsome and always look young little "big" brother (Xiao Ge).
Haha I sensed some jelaousy there. I dont know, perhaps the writer and the director thought that the fans of The Lost Tomb series were more attracted to Qiling than Wu Xie the main lead, thus...as you knew in the Reboot, all episodes were to enhance Wu Xie's character. And yeah... it seems that most of Qiling's screentimes had to be replaced by Bai Haotian, the 4th sister.
If you see the cast list, Huang Jun Jie was not one of the main casts, but only support cast. It was different with the cast list in the Lost Tomb 1 and 2 for the role of Zhang Qiling.
Tbh I am anxious with the ending of the Lost Tomb 3 session 2, because (spoiler alert), the script was starting killing characters. So far (until ep 8) there were 2 supporting roles were ended ( one with a reason to build Fatty and Wu Xie's characters, the other was unrelated story). With the current disease of Wu Xie, and Wu Xie's premonition/fear of losing Qiling and Fatty, the addition of Bai Haotian as the 4th sister was like a setting of a close storyteller of the legendary Iron Triangle. It will be realistic, but still...wasting such good series.

I knew the story of the Zhang family must be mentioned somewhere. i only saw lost tomp1 staring Li yi feng and sand sea and reunion season one, i skiped the lost tomb 2 and then i started the candle in the tomb trinity cause i love Gao wei guang. Anyway i'm glad to meet a fan like me here
@@noonanana3149 his story (about his parents) was also told in the the Tomb of The Sea ep 49. Well...there were five people so far whom taking the Role of Zhang Qiling, the popular ones were Yang Yang (The Lost Tomb 1) and Huang Jun Jie ( The Lost Tomb 3 Reboot), because of their styles, acting, performance and popularity.

I'll be hitting the other parts of this adaptation selection... though I do have a theory for his memory issues based on something I saw in a neuroscience article...I would need to re-trace my steps to say more about it though since I may not remember parts of it properly...even if I have an exceptional memory in comparison to Wu Xie.
