I briefly worked assembly for Benchmade, and we indeed used a D-shaped pivot placeholder pin that we pushed through with the actual pivot. Each knife model needed a specific size for that particular design.
Good looking design, blade scales, backspacer and clip and one of my favorite lock types. I only have one RS, the Metamorph. I might have to pick one of these up. Thanks for the look.
Not a backspacer rather a taco shaped liner. It’s more a budget integral then just a budget knife. I have the sacra but really want this one too. My favorite part of these knives is the way it feels and sounds while opening and closing, so incredibly satisfying.
I love how fidgety crossbar locks are until I snapped the omega springs first on my SOG TAC-XR and then on my Benchmade 940-2. Now I'm quite leery about playing with them. I really love my full size Grip and my mini Grip as well as my 945 and Blade HQ exclusive 940 but I hardly bring them out. Also, I don't understand why companies had to come out with integral frames.

Light, strong and clean, clean lines. I like it.

Really want this. I love Real Steel.
I am using (daily) Metamorph MK 2 by that designer. I simply love it. I love the knife and admire Ostap Hel's work !

there is no backspacer. It's an integral.
Integral on the budget :D
Cool, useful design. Well done Ostap... as usual ;)

Nice , love the clean look !!
Real Steel wants you to have all the fun using your new knife to make cut outs on the box :)

They need to ship with spare omega springs. Some companies do.Good luck getting some down the road. 😒
They should scale it up to a 4" blade
Never owned a Real Steel but love a lot of thejr designs. Hows their heat treat?

@@LuvThemKnives hey thank you!
Cool backspacer. Unfortunate they didn't take three seconds to touch the rear of the unfinished metal to a sanding belt.
The nitro v is New.
They used to have 14c or vg10
Kind of looks close to an iridium but better steel. Did Ostap design the iridium?
No he didn’t do the Iridium but it looks pretty similar
75$ for a budget folder? Perix the thought. Sorry...had to find a way to say that.
Lol!
Schrade Divergent $21.95. beats the pants off this.
🤣
