@@arphimigonarmurder1125 her stack is still REALLY good when she's in. Her lp and lk are scary good and I still enough fear to keep you respecting her, and her other buttons aren't all terrible either, esp her c.hp. Her dive kick is also underated.
My advice: know when u can take ur turn against her and lab ur punishes.

Man, I feel like there has to be better meterless DI corner combos than just 1 lariat. Still mad respect for throwing it down in the STREETS from LUKE
I thought the same thing and looked at a pro zangief player (snake eyes). He did Hellchop (3 MP) into lariat which is surprisingly not much different, however when he is willing to burn meter (and drive meter) he would Hellchop into overdrive lariot, into jumping overdrive SPD and it destroys the opponent’s health. Would be hyped if DemonDan14 landed this in a game.
because Zangief is a grappler,not rushdown.
It’s probably better to just do EX command grab instead of a combo because Gief don’t really have all that

Also if you don't mind a scrub giving advice (that I only know from watching Snake Eyes):
0:32 When you pin them after Drive Impact, Use hellstab (down forward M punch) and combo into lariat. If you really wanna say goodbye to your drive bar, you can do hellstab into OD lariat into tiger knee OD Borscht Dynamite for a nice 3990 damage. This also works for punish counter Cyclone Wheel Kick (forward H kick) but the OD Borscht Dynamite is only guaranteed in the corner.
You don't need to tiger knee his air grab. Air half circle back. Neutral hcb and up and two kick buttons also work. I dont know why people think you need to tiger knee it. Try other shortcuts first people.
@@soopwizsoopwiz343 I only ment Tiger knee as in an instant air move. You only have like 4 frames to link off OD lariat and OD Borscht Dynamite is the only move that can link after the lariat.

Lily looks OP as fuck. Her heavy poke being forward & up coverage AA is nuts. Plus that spiral arrow looking attack going into a strike/throw is horseshit.
Lily is my fav character to play but it seems a lot of top players think shes the weakest in the cast
That's literally all she has though. She's not in a good spot.
The spiral arrow "thing" is just good when she have the mark of wind if not the move become bad super - in block
@@negansbull you can still make it plus if you space it correctly, you can also make it plus by making it hit meaty. you should explore the character a bit more
Shes really bad rn, her strike throw hurts at low levels but in higher levels its almost worthless

Any tips on throw teching? You're incredibly good at knowing when the opponents going to throw and then teching it but I'm struggling bad with it ;-;
You know, I wouldn't mind fighting against JP as much if a jab jab jab stribog didn't basically push you to the other side of the screen, making you have to get in again. Seems too big a reward for what you put into it.

I'm curious why did you edit out the ranks during the fight but not when you're matching/going between fights so we can still see them there?
It's just in settings I have it set that way so it looks cleaner on the screen sometimes I forget to have it off and it shows em during matches though.
