Thanks for posting this. Very timely. I’m all set to pull the trigger on a set of these for my TJ. I might try to look at the material on the bottom before installing just to see.
This is a common problem with seats in 4wd’s usually the drivers seat. It caused by sliding bum across the seat when getting in and out of the vehicle. It’s a simple fix at an auto upholstery shop.
How has the seat comfort been on long road trips and daily driving scenarios? Do the side bolsters really hold you in a single position or can you kinda lean over and rest an elbow on the center console while you drive?
I've played with the tilt of the squab to get the under thigh support I wanted, the side bolsters are supportive but not intrusive. Fine on a trip, good seats they aren't Recaro's however.

1 year on materials and craftsmanship is a joke of a warranty, very disappointing.
