PBA has all means to reduce the water rates. It is not mandatory for SPAN. But they want more money. The PBA has become more and more inefficient and ineffective because it does not have capable CEO and managers. Most of the good workers have retired. CEO is not an expert in water supply and fails to understand water supply planning and future demand. But he knows how to make the staff happy by giving 3.5 months bonus. The damage has also been done by previous CEO who is also another destroyer. Very sad for PBA .

You are right.
GST cannot be implemented fairly without PADU.
Once PADU is running smoothly those B40, M40 will get the subsidies as per their needs.
The main reason for PADU is to eliminate the more than RM30 billion petrol subsidies. The over RM30 billion will be distributed to those B40 and M40.
So RON95 price will gradually increase to market rate similar to Thailand by end 2025.
Subsidies is not cut for B40 and M40. Some T20 with needs also receive subsidies.
Subsidies only cut for the rich and T20.
Govt is losing RM60-80 billion on subsidies for diesel and petrol RON95.
Better use this RM60 billion to be distribute to the M40 and B40.

My advice to you is don't under estimate power of voters. My comments to economic minister, don't gedik gedik snd overly proud after you robbed diesel subsidy money from rakyat. To Chinese voters don't just keep quiet when Lembu Kenyang hurting you. Alhamdulillah, the best won, we have to change for better Malaysia.
The diesel money will return back to the Rakyats by other means.. All the fishermen, border guards, and smugglers are doing great selling diesel to Thailand, and the govt has to put a stop to this leakage. I think this will also apply with the Ron65 petrol... But always remember, the Rakyats will have proper management of such subsidy... It is time to wake up Malays, don't get emotional.. 😊😊

Increased government spending, increased corruption and unfair distribution in policies and funds with higher cost of living badly affecting medium, low income and retirees majority. This turn towards opposition to have a stronger voice is a logical response of voters. The voices of elected representative has been a show and belittling people need, and many leaning towards self interest. It also showed that the real voices of opposition is not heard to improve issues, so the changes or game plan may just have to come from the voters.
Rural Malays live a simple life. Their leader must be local n live amongst them for years. He or she must be actively present during religious n other social activities. Other than that the local couldn't care less. Big projects are under government obligation, not ADUN. They want their ADUN n MPs be with them at all time. Whether or not the ADUN brings development, it does not matter. At least, the ADUN n MP have tried. Who cares about a highly qualified candidate, FDI, world affairs, good governance, inflation, ringgit value etc. They just want their MPs n ADUN at home. Tq

Cancel subsidy of diesel is not wrong but use it to revise pay of govt servant is unnecessary as every year, govt servant has increased of salary already. Better use the money save to pay for the debt of country. This may help to appreaciate RM and may help to reduce the price of products.
People of Penang have voiced out many issues but the state government ignore and tsk with for granted. He thought it is sure win in Penang and ask people of Penang to fly kites. Wait and see. We have been very supportive of Pakatan but we are getting fed up.

Not fair EDUCATION POLICIES does play a big part in this lost which shows Chinese Voters not voting. Policies like only with 10As in SPM, non malays can guarantee a sit in matriculation shows how unfair and how their future is being stolen right in front of their own eyes. How abt those who scores 7As, 8As and 9As. They did very well to obtain a place in matriculation and later in govt uni whc has lower fee compare to private uni and colleges. So many of those who are in their 20s who didnt get to study at govt uni even with good high grades when they did their SPM, now showing their decision during this election. How abt those parents who have to spend tens of thousands of ringgits in private colleges think when they hear 10As for guarantee places in Matriculation for non Malays. So the diesel subsidy or PBA hikes on water BIlls not only the main reason. Unfair education policies does play it parts.
The rising cost of living, plus the lack of basic necessities (frequent water disruptions) are most likely the primary costs of discontent! Please do the needful! Don't focus on high rise projects too much.
I would prefer a good and clean government instead of a corrupt one. Rise in diesel price may cause pain in short-term, a corrupt government will pain for few generations.

I think DAP is doing a good job in Penang. Don't look at the party in whole. Look at the individual leaders. Same goes for PH. There are good and bad apples within the same group. That's why when we vote we should vote for the candidate in the respective states. Not the party they represent.
