      My sister was thinking about getting a new laptop and is into video editing, I just wanted to know you’re opinion what a good budget laptop would be good for video editing. She also would prefer iris graphics but anything will do, if you see this thank you.

    As a software engineer and a specialist in software security I find your hack into a mainframe convincing. Great video. I find my self using noise effect in blender too. The fact is, if you look close enough, literally everything is noisy. To make things detailed you can add detail by hand or just add a bunch of noise and it will usually be more realistic.

    Yeah, fractals are a major building block of many effects. Fun video. I dig the old Apple iMac.

    This channel is literally the reason why I can't move away from After Effects to Fusion and keep coming back to AE. Mann, we need these awesome contents for Fusion too! I know I'm greedy 😭😭

    • @HikingWithCooper
      @HikingWithCooper ปีที่แล้ว

      You use both? Which do you prefer? In this video Jordy hit a "Make this 3D" button and it just...worked. I think to do that in Fusion you'd need to use several steps and encounter at least a dozen crashes. I've been in Fusion for 3 years and I pretty much hate it. I love the marketing but using it is like trying to start a car in the wrecking yard.

    • @NOTONtechsx
      @NOTONtechsx ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HikingWithCooper The workflow is different. You can probably do 90% of what you can do with AE in Fusion.
      I'm kinda trying to move away from Adobe's crappy ecosystem. Replaced Illustrator with the Affinity Suite and Premiere and Audition with Resolve but this AE is something I have trouble leaving.
      I have used Fusion and I'd say I prefer the node-based workflow more than AE's layer-based workflow although initially nodes look intimidating.

    Do Premiere and After Effects actually work that well? I moved to Resolve a few years ago and it would have crashed 10 times making the first half of this video. Everyone says Premiere crashes a lot but in my experience it is way more stable than Resolve. I've never learned After Effects but it looks pretty straight forward.

    i really hate those sketchs, don't know if you guys think your audience is build of kids or something like that. why don't go straight to the point? like... it's nice that you guys are trying something different, but we don't need a hole fictional storytelling to learn about fractal noise

    • @CinecomCrew
      @CinecomCrew  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To each his own of course. We are trying to do some more storytelling in our videos but we can’t please everyone of course 😅

    • @HikingWithCooper
      @HikingWithCooper ปีที่แล้ว

      I think just about all of us like these. There are so many bad tuts where you can't hear the person talking and he's just moving his mouse pointer around haphazardly in order to do....something. We do this to make movies and Cinecom's tuts are like mini movies.
