(Team Jina here) (I'm not that fluent in English) Before anyone come after me, I wrote this from my perception bcs I've once stand in jina position. The difference were, he left me for my best friends, without even told me anything he started a relationship with her * When I saw the drama I thought Lee hyun kyu would get jina but it turns out otherwise, I'm relieved yet I felt sad for hyun kyu but still, he deserved it, he's too late, he's good but his action for 9 years wasn't, he shouldn't ghosting jina like that. He need to put things straight if he really love her, The pain of leaving someone without even telling them are much more worse than you telling them you want to break up, at least tell her that he will leave her for a while and ask her to wait for him, so she know that he still love her, he still want her. While in their situation? He doesn't tell her both to wait and to break up. He went overseas for a few months but when he back, he opened up a cafe and left the chance to make up with her. He want her back after he make Jina waiting for something unconfirmed. After he screwed her mind up. At the end, Hyun Kyu accept the fact that he can't get jina back And I know how ignorant cha joo ik action are too, he shouldn't do that while he knew everything about hyun kyu and jina relation. He doesn't have to kiss her just because he pitied her or as a way for her to leave the apartment. He should let hyun kyu met her when his about to go to the convenience store. You can call him selfish but as you know, that it's not his fault jina and hyun kyu not together, He's not the one ghosting jina around, he's not the one who won't replied to jina text, he's not the one making jina wait all year long. All I know that he is the man I want to be with if I were at jina place, at least he know whats he doing, what he wants and he stand for it. He taking care of Jina silently for 9 years without making any move(maybe because he think Jina will decide to get back with hk at the end). When he got the chance he tell straight to her that he like her. He's not mad when she told him she went on a date with hyun kyu. He told her that he can accept it as one-sided love and he okay with that since he doesn't want her to feel burdened by his confession. Both hyun kyu and joo ik know that love is not all abt being together I don't care which one jina end up with act, she can even live her own or she can be with sun kyung 😂
You know, the writer and the producer should make a second season for this couple. They can have a different title like movies, a sequel but revolves to the story of different character. I really really liked the chemistry between this two and their interactions and the way their story unfolded. It's heartwarming I just want more!!! I recently watched a business proposal and I also liked the second lead couple there, so much more I ended up skipping scenes of the main couple like in this drama ... I thought why do I always have to fall for the chemistry of 2nd lead!? 😭 it just always leave me wanting and asking for more 😭😭😭😭
I think the second lead couple only make 1/3 of the scenes in this drama, the other 2/3 are the first lead. But eventhough their scenes are not much, but its enough to make an impression, right. I couldn't take it when I watched that scene because Joo eak knew everything about the two of them and he shouldn't have liked Ji na and knew that. (Team Jina here) (I'm not that fluent in English) Before anyone come after me, I wrote this from my perception bcs I've once stand in jina position. The difference were, he left me for my best friends, without even told me anything he started a relationship with her

When I saw the drama I thought Lee hyun kyu would get jina but it turns out otherwise, I'm relieved yet I felt sad for hyun kyu but still, he deserved it, he's too late, he's good but his action for 9 years wasn't, he shouldn't ghosting jina like that. He need to put things straight if he really love her, The pain of leaving someone without even telling them are much more worse than you telling them you want to break up, at least tell her that he will leave her for a while and ask her to wait for him, so she know that he still love her, he still want her. While in their situation? He doesn't tell her both to wait and to break up. He went overseas for a few months but when he back, he opened up a cafe and left the chance to make up with her. He want her back after he make Jina waiting for something unconfirmed. After he screwed her mind up. At the end, Hyun Kyu accept the fact that he can't get jina back
And I know how ignorant cha joo ik action are too, he shouldn't do that while he knew everything about hyun kyu and jina relation. He doesn't have to kiss her just because he pitied her or as a way for her to leave the apartment. He should let hyun kyu met her when his about to go to the convenience store. You can call him selfish but as you know, that it's not his fault jina and hyun kyu not together, He's not the one ghosting jina around, he's not the one who won't replied to jina text, he's not the one making jina wait all year long. All I know that he is the man I want to be with if I were at jina place, at least he know whats he doing, what he wants and he stand for it. He taking care of Jina silently for 9 years without making any move(maybe because he think Jina will decide to get back with hk at the end). When he got the chance he tell straight to her that he like her. He's not mad when she told him she went on a date with hyun kyu. He told her that he can accept it as one-sided love and he okay with that since he doesn't want her to feel burdened by his confession.

I think the second lead couple only make 1/3 of the scenes in this drama, the other 2/3 are the first lead. But eventhough their scenes are not much, but its enough to make an impression, right.
