Not sure about the silver model vs. the gold model but the the instructions say to remove the head (it just twists off) to prevent water from getting on/in the battery or charger port.
Easier than trying to find in a small manual. Just bought a new shaver and love it so far, much better shaving than cheaper & unreliable shavers. Time will tell.
Thank you so much! You’re the only video I found after watching three that actually showed how to take the head apart to get the hair out. Other videos they just popped the head off but they didn’t explain how to take it off with the little tabs by kinda pushing up with your fingers against the tabs. Thank you again! God bless 🙏🏻

I just wanted to know if you have to dry manually inside the blade once you have cleaned it under the cold water. Do you have to use the rinse stand and turn it on once you have done all this?
Not really. RX5 powers up instantly, skullshaver takes 1.5 seconds. Skullshaver is *slightly* quieter. RX5 has 5 blades, skullshaver has 4 - but both seem to shave about as well as each other. Main difference is Skullshaver has replacement blades you can buy.

Yeah this method doesn't clean it very well at all, it would have been good to show taking the individual blades apart to clean out all the accumulated gunk because if you don't it will start to smell funky after a while!
Pretty useless instructions for actually cleaning up all the accumulated hair in the pitbull. Seems easy to disassemble, clean and put back together after which it worked fine.
I have bald spot at back of my head so I decided shave my head bald many years ago I get a lot of compliments and girls like to if u have a bald spot shave it off completely you love it, at first I used a razor and shaving cream for years then I heard about head shavers from a friend and decided to use one it's not as close as using razor and cream,I use the call shaver evey day..there is time I think about going back to simple razor and shaving cream,but for now I will continue to use the Pitt Bull Gold shaver..

Do you ever have to take the blades out to clean the hair from them??? My current shaver is a bear to clean,. It gets clogged up with hair a lot

This isn’t really cleaning it what he showed. Around each head on that shaver, there is clogged up hair and skin oil.

Useless instructions... All very obvious, but doesn't get ALL of the accumulated debris out of the blades❗

Better to take it apart and clean it dry, otherwise it will smell
