Dynamic price seems like a another solo player nerf. You could farm up some scrap on road, go to outpost, buy materials and have a base kit pretty much for start without having to farm wood with a rock.

Hey Drizzza do you have any idea what happened to the AI rework they were doing? A while ago they talked about bots not being able to see you with their back turned to you and them being more intelligent with their movements. Was all of that scrapped?

Only a matter of time until someone creates the Rust price-tracker, and then we can finally have Rust Wall Street. Imagine buying 'stocks' in Rust. I'll take 100 scrap worth of High Quality Metal shares. Price goes up or down, you redeem your gains/losses.
Rust should add dogs. The whole funcionality dogs have: bark to other players; attack them; listen to them crouching and alert you; they could be found as puppies in the wilderness and you domesticate them; Add dog houses, water and food bowls; Add dog armor; They jump at your arm and avoid you using your gun or melee, or make you drop them; if anyone kills your dog they're gone for good; there could be different dogs personalities and different breeds; dogs provide the confort effect; you play with them; if you release them out there they bring you random loot.
That sounds kinda sick ngl
good idea tbh, roleplayers will keep the dogs safe in ase, and pvp-ers would risk their dogs in fights

It's not an increase it's a dynamic price change up and down based on player abuse basically

Nah , rust is probably the popular FPS with less cheater, and the one that bans them faster. There will always be cheaters, and the more popular a game is the more cheaters it has. I can tell you Rust does a way better job with cheaters than big company games like CS, COD, Fortnite and Apex, just to name a few. That veing said, cheater will always go one step ahead. Thats how the game is.

peoples are just going to f1 kill the second you put cuffs on. it would be cool if the cuffs disabled the ability to do that

Every game like this slowly gets swallowed up by big groups until it is unplayable as initially intended. Depressing when the mass majority of the population currently says to kick rocks but will be wondering where everyone went two years from now. Never have I seen QOL for solos drop so quickly in rust than in the past year. Honestly is getting to the point a duo team can barely cut it on officials
It's almost like there's dozens of servers designed for small groups or something but everybody only sorts by maximum players
@@Drizzza because the game is no fun running around for an hour to find 3 other people roaming, as a solo you can kill groups easy enough, but it is alot harder for a solo to get scrap for a base compared to a group.

The outpost has needed a nerf for a very long time. Players are either sitting in their base afk or sitting at a safezone. This dynamic pricing will most likely see many changes overtime until it feels right.
you're crazy, especially if you're still hanging around safe zones. Rad towns and roams have been so much more frequent since they did all these outpost nerfs. The one thing i will miss is the stone for wood trade. We will see how much its gonna cost after this.
@@Z0mb13ta11ahase So far the price changes are only affecting stuff that can be purchased with scrap, so stone for wood shouldn't be changed.

Ok nice now I don’t have to come back to rust after a break. As solo you are now just fucked. Big clans will just buy out the items so the price sky rocked so they can sell their stuff…. That update is so bad…
Does every solo forget about modded or solo/duo/trio servers??? Or what's the deal? Obviously you must play with a group to have fun on bigger servers.
@@Drizzza the rich solo will still inflate prices so it makes no difference if you play on solo, due or tripple. Furthermore many modded Server are Pay to win or have playing admins wich destroy the fun. I want to play vanilla and not some modded shit
Fair point about modded but everytime something changes for "solo players" there's still people complaining about it benefiting clans. It's going to be very hard for solos no matter what changes
