I got Scythia because it was convenient too. I liked the artwork and color palette more in Raiders of the North Sea but after playing with Raiders of Scythia I prefer this artwork much more. Each character has character. The game has character - sour milk, war birds and horses!
Red Robin fries are so good! As for the video, I liked that you specified where you got each game (just found it interesting). I have found myself with a list of holds with Gamenerdz and recently started ordering from MiniatureMarket with their sale the just had. So I have two holds waiting to build to free shipping. I can't start another. Also, it would have been nice to get a shot off your entire haul together on the table at the end, just to see all the games.
Earth is like Ark Nova? Yikes, I would not go into it with that expectation...more like Wingspan. Ark Nova is a big, heavy, super interconnected game. Dylann from All you can Board really summed it up the best in a recent video
I’ll check that video out! I think the comparison is coming from it being an engine builder with a massive deck of cards, which Wingspan certainly is! Interesting to hear that it skews lighter, very curious to give it a play!
@@boardandsaviorgames yes, for sure lighter. I think the complexity it has over Wingspan is that theres more score objectives going on at the same time, and theres a tile laying aspect to scoring some end game objectives and terrain.

Santa and Krampus are PERFECT inclusions! I love the public domain stuff, it’s just their own made up generic characters that feel boring to me. Santa and Krampus are must-buys for me
