It's still upsetting that Rice, who was getting very good at the end of last year and into this year he got even better, is out for the year. He is such a talent and really is a Chief. I don't think he would be as good if he was under under managers and coaches and teammates.
And with the loss of Hollywood as well for the year the offense is going to have a tough year.
One guy I've had my eye on since training camps has been Xavier Worthy. Not just because of his speed. He seemed like a super talent that could be coached into being brilliant but, he would need the time to percolate and have the more experienced guys take the lead and he learn alot, even if playing, like Mahomes did as a rookie. Help the kid along right.
Now he is thrust into the limelight as a wet behind the ears rookie. No matter how good it does take some time to develop. I hope the kid can handle the push into a major role and shine. He is someone who can be a big deal in a couple years. Or this year. I would like him to succeed and shine and become a major player in the midst of all the injuries of the stars. Imagine if Worthy and Kelce could take on alot of the weight and really make it a deadly deal for the other teams.
Worthy is a great potential.

I don't think so either, I hope Xavier Worthy sticks with the veterans to gain experience, he has to gain some mass too, because the type of injury Rashee Rice had can happen to anyone and this year we are without two key pieces already

Don't look so negative. A string of injuries happens in all teams. Some years more devastating than others. KC took a bad hit but, Pacheco will be back in a few weeks and he is an amazing player. The offense really needs his abilities. And even though new and raw, the kid Worthy is coming along. The big guy, Kelce, is as tough as ever. And KC is able to get people like JuJu back in the line. Things will come along.
KC also has a heck of a defense with mighty Chris Jones leading the pack.
Harrison B's golden foot is doing alot to put points on the board (and probably why he is now the highest paid kicker).
And finishing week 5 - only the Chiefs and Vikings are 0 - 5. Quite impressive for the injuries. That's because the Chiefs always find some way of hanging in there.
