After 2 yrs cloth diaper won't work ma, because child will pee more quantity. May be you can use and have to change after 1 time urination itself. Do potty training and use cloth diaper only at night, take to rest room before bed, then use cloth diaper.
Pant over cloth diaper will look bulky.

Use cloth diaper after 3 mons sis. Now baby bump will be small, cloth diaper won't fit. If you fit properly, there won't be leakage. Upto 3 mons use cotton cloth preferably kada cotton cloth.

No ma. We need wash and then use. Not only cloth diaper, any under wear/inner wear you buy, wash in warm water, dry under sunlight and use. Not only for kids, for adults also.

I use neem leaves (either powder or grind fresh leaves) + very little turmeric powder - make a paste and apply and leave for few mins and wash off. Check with elders in family once. If you want, can buy any good rash cream from medicals.

I am also facing exactly same issue sis. This is because babies sleep on one side while feeding at night. So, leaks at the side. If they sleep straight there won't be leakage. Super bottoms basic, uno also leaks. I change to disposable diaper that time and then change back to cloth at morning, don't leave disposable diaper for long time.

Yes ma, light ah leak aagum. Elastic tight ah irukara vara, leak agadhu. Elastic pochuna, light ah leak aagum. Fitting proper ah irundha leak agadhu. Naa konjam loosa than poduvaen, I am okay with light leakage, won't come outside, will have light wet leg side. Microfiber insert seems good to me - both cost wise and quality.

Hi Sis, When diaper is new, you can insert only one inside, there won't be space to insert more inserts. If you add more inserts, it will look bulky for babies. After use for some months, elastic will losen, then you can insert 2 inserts at a time.

If you have separate insert in same brand, then would work ma. Buying insert from other brands sometimes works, not all. Check size length and breadth of your outer diaper and compare with insert length, breadth, also thickness before buying.
Or you can try stitching few waste cotton cloth like insert and try if it works.

Yes, we can use. Diaper will fit, but urine quantity will be more for 3 yr babies, it will hold only one time urination and may leak. Before going to bed, take baby to rest room and then use diaper. We have to start potty training from 1.5 years so that babies can be independent on toileting and out of diaper completely by 2 years.

Till elastic goes off, there won't be leakage. Also, of you fit tight, no leakage. But, I don't fit tight for my kids, I am okay with little leakage.

If baby went motion, remove and wash immediately. We use spray gun to wash off motion, then soak in washing powder for around 30 mins, then wash by slightly rubbing in hand, no brush. Then dry under sunlight.
If you leave motion for long time and wash later, then will be difficult to remove yellow color.

Cloth diapers are recommended only from 3 mons sis. For 4 weeks old, use cotton cloth (kada cloth). If you use disposable diaper, use only at night from 10PM to 6AM - one diaper enough. Wipe with warm water and dry. Then change to cotton cloth.

@@luvsachkash Its semi white thick cotton cloth. You can get in all cloth shops, where you can buy cloth in meters. We will also use kada cloth to make cradle (thotil in tamil)

You can put pyjamas over cloth diaper, but baby bump will look little bigger. I use disposable diaper when we go out, otherwise only cloth diaper in home, no pant over it.
If you fit properly, there will be no leakage. But after an year of usage, elastic loosens and will have some leakage.
I suggest buying one diaper and use it and see. Instead of wearing synthetic disposable diaper full day & night, atleast some hours in day child can wear natural clothes and be free some hours.

3 mons baby will have frequent urination, but less quantity. 2-3 diapers in day and one at night. I haven't see rashes while using cloth diaper, don't fit too tight, otherwise elastic mark will irritate baby.
