Sorry for the delay in replying. I took a break during the pandemic. I went with the S bar as that was what I was used to with my other bikes and I also thought it would be a little more streamlined.
Yes, we're pretty lucky in London. They've really invested in this area and I think it's paying dividends. Hopefully it can be a blueprint for the Government to follow for other cities in the UK
Not bad! Seems a lot of effort was going in there, hope you were wearing a cycle mask. My single speed is faster, but you have sparked my interest. Would the ti version be quicker?
Thanks. Mine is the all steel version. I'm not sure whether the 1kg weight saving will make Buch difference with the ti model. I only use 3 of the 6 gears I have, so would happily use a single speed around London.
The green barriers are for pedestrians to social distance when the pavements/sidewalks are busy. They can keep the 2m distance by stepping into the road without the worry of getting hit by a car (or bike).
Great video, loved watching as you zip through the city streets 👍 thanks for sharing
Good way of promoting bicycle in car centric UK. You have my respect mate
Thanks for the kind words.
Your video's have got me HOOKED; great work! Also, I'm super jealous of the infrastructure London has compared to Birmingham.
Thanks Miles, that's great to hear. I hope London's infrastructure inspires the Government to invest in other UK cities.
@@cyclingthecity cambridge open its new dutch inspired run about. UK's first
@@onebicycle3772 I might have to go and try it out when I'm next in Cambridge
@@cyclingthecity looking forward to watch it in your future videos👍
Looks like an enjoyable cycle, thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Thanks for watching. It was a fun ride.
Just wondering about your choice of cycle handles. My work scheme bike is with the other handles. Don't like the wobbly feel. Which do you prefer?

Amazing cycling skills at 4.30am
It was early, but not that early! :)
Enjoyable to watch 🤗🤗🤗
Thanks for the comment. That's great to hear :)

Great defensive cycling! Can't wait to get my brompton and ride on the routes on your videos.
But aren't you supposed to be behind the green barriers?

Bike speed is pretty fast. Is that a speeded up video?
No, it's normal speed. There are a few downhill sections, such as Haymarket which may look faster.
