With TwinCAT 3 automation software Beckhoff has extended the options of PC-based control technology. The integration into Microsoft Visual Studio® and the introduction of new functions such as support for the object-oriented extension of IEC 61131-3, the use of C/C++ as programming language for real-time applications or the integration of Matlab®/Simulink®, offer users new options for programming of PLC, NC, CNC or robotics runtime systems.
With eXtended Motion Control, the TwinCAT automation software offers an integrated and scalable motion control solution for applications including simple point-to-point motion, CNC and robot control.
